I had to go to MedOCC yesterday with severe back pain, I’m a young man and assumed I’d pulled a muscle but wanted to get it checked anyway. The care I received felt like I was at a private medical centre. The staff at the front counter were friendly, welcoming, supportive and sympathetic. The wait time was less than an hour and they were very busy. The doctor and nurse I saw were absolutely fantastic. They made me feel at ease and I truly felt that they cared. The care i received was like nothing I have ever had before. A true representation of what our wonderful NHS is about. I sadly didn’t get the doctor or nurses name but I want to extend my gratitude publicly as they honestly made me feel better before I had even started my treatment. ❤️

We were seen by the Medical Director who was great with my Son. Thanks

Was sent to Medoc by my Physiotherapist at MCH was a 3hr wait , but was seen by a really lovely doctor who done a thrombosis examination. And explained everything and advice about my sciatica. Thank you all for your hard work .

Horrible staff. Early morning I went to medocc with my 6 year old daughter as she suffering in stomach pain for two weeks. One of GP doctors was really incompetent as said he doesn't know what to do to help. But also didn't send to specialist or pediatric doctor who may know, doing no tests to see why pain is not going off even with painkillers. He was literally sleeping (I know it's very busy and they need to see lots of people's, could be overwhelming at times, but he had no care and just kept saying I don't know. It's his job to find how to help a person! If don't know, then consult or send to someone who knows, but not send helpless child in pain home to suffer). Just keep pushing on paracetamol... She was screaming and rocking in a pain for a hour and all reception and doctors, nurses around seen it and didn't offered any help and support. Just gave a slip for blood tests to do in MCH Home as I been begging to check it , as she don't eat and drink normal for days. Very disappointed with that kind of "help".

I would give them 5 stars, but the fact that their "view" of an urgent appointment is 8 hrs later, is a joke. At least I got seen and got in and out in less than 2 hrs.
Still having issues thoo, but at least it's on a roll now

I had such a great experience at MedOCC ok the wait was a little bit long (about 4 hours), but it was a Saturday night ... I arrived at the reception and the ladies at the reception were lovely and had a smile (which unfortunately dont always get at other places) i was triaged within 10 - 15 mins then waitied too see the Doctor... i was seen by DR GEORGE he was such a lovely doctor, very caring, and really explained things well and made sure i understood everything before I left with my medication. Thank you again

I think people are quick to review when they have bad experiences but not when they have good ones 😊

I went to medocc on Thursday after I rung 111 who sent an ambulance out for me and when I got there the receptionist was rude to me and when I told them I needed they disagreed with me and sent me home. I ended back in hospital few days after to be told by my midwife that I was severely dehydrated and I could have had a heart attack. I would not recommend going medocc ever again

I am very pleased with the doctor who called me from MedOCC. My GP didn't give me appointment after I filled
e-consult twice so I rang 111 and was referred to a doctor form MedOCC in Medway hospital. He called me and he was very kind, polite, helpful and was asking questions to understand the problem and he really cared about everything I was worried about and reassured me. He sent a prescription to the nearest pharmacy too. I wish all doctors were like him! Thank you so much!
