If you're reading these reviews before going for your first time and you are worrying about how the experience is going to be - Do not worry you are in the safest possible hands.

Absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish.
I was only on a 2 night trial, but the care from all of the staff was absolutely outstanding.
It's testament to how good the establishment is when all of the other volunteers on the trials were recurring volunteers who had been there many times before.

Vicky in the lunch/lounge area was very welcoming and would always help if you needed anything.

Janet in reception made you feel extremely comfortable when arriving and that starts off the experience so much better.

A few nurses/research trial assistants that I would like to shoutout are Trish, Molly, Naomi and Christine who were tremendous at their jobs and made you feel at ease.

Finally, I want to give a big shout out to Kasey, from the minute I came in for my screening to the minute I left she was there for anything throughout the day I needed and she took time out to have normal conversations throughout the couple of days I was there.

I will 100% be coming back when my wash out period is finished.

Really well run place. Just completing the main part of my first research and have been really impressed with all the staff here. I've actually never seen better teamwork in any public setting before, and although I'm still a bit funny about needles, they make it fairly painless. Marie & Vicky in the canteen/breakout area are absolutely brilliant! They take good care of you, serve nice and food and cheer you up in the midst of the boredom. I was here for 5 nights after all! Better experience than I expected. Thanks.

I would Highly recommend to anybody with any background who are interested to contribute in medicine clinical research trials to join (MEU) Medical Evalution Unit In Manchester. Such a great place with highly motivated, hardworking, professional staff who all gets along very well with everyone.

I started my 14 days medication research trial on 2nd March 2022 and I am on my day 7 today halfway through my clinical research contribution journey and have to say so glad with the fantastic service experience I have experienced at MEU. “Don’t want to go back home it’s that good”

The recruitment team, doctors, nurses, lab, reception, kitchen and all other staff part of the MEU are absolutely fantastic. Everyone giveme a warm welcome from day one. It felt so good because it was my first ever study which I took part in so happy that I choose MEU.

The recruitment team members Jhon and Sophie give me good introduction about the MEU and the studies they do. Answered all my questions I had, talked me through the process and made me feel very good which is a bonus prior taking part in clinical trials.

Receptionist Janet was the first person I saw as soon I stepped in the MEU building she was so good at her approach, very professional, helpful, most importantly she is so calm and funny. After having a chat with Janet, I felt that I am in good hands and will be looked after. It felt so good that I thought I have been coming in MEU for years even though it was my first time at MEU.

The nursing force at MEU always smiling, enthusiastic, great engagement in rounds. To be honest lots of fun to be on a clinical trial because their overall approach is super nice. All have strong knowledge at what they do. Interacted well with the group, very calm and demeanour for people who are taking part in the clinical studies. Very professional, helpful, supportive, understanding of the case studies. Give me the reinsurance that I am in good hands and made sure that I am feeling well at all times. I would like to thanks especially the following nurses Sincy, Sara, Rachel, Kayleigh, Michelle, Jan, Florence, Ezinne for looking after me. They all work along each other fantastically well. Offering to help each other in team which made it all look so good, very helpfully and super motivated.

The kitchen crew Marie and Vicky are very kind, humble, nice, highly professional and very good at what the they do. Always listen to your needs also made sure that I had a good time at MEU. It did not felt that I was away from home. Their approach is absolutely beautiful. The food they both prepared was superb, always on time and made sure I enjoyed the meal. I remember asking for super hot Tabasco Sauce and the next day they had it so I could enjoy my food more. “I like spices food and the sauce made it taste even better”

Doctors at MEU are highly qualified professional especially doctors Sara, Sruthi thank you for everything you do. Always made me feel so safe. The compassion with which you treat the people who are taking part in clinical trail studies is more effective than any medicine. All the doctors are a perfect combination of responsibility and care. Thank you so far so good taking care of me so delicately.
I am humbled, very great full and super duper happy with the entire MEU team. Thank you so much everyone!
