My elderly mother, who has got Alzheimer's and vascular dementia, and is bed/chairbound, has been here for 18 months now, and both my father and I are extremely pleased with the care that she gets on the Mary Powell wing. The nurses listen to me, and always keep me informed if there is a problem. I cannot fault the care staff, either. Mum is extremely happy and settled there, which means that I can concentrate on caring for Dad.

I have just settled my dad here for a period of respite. The staff are wonderful and genuine. Ellie is an amazing young lady, professional, smart, likeable and not rushed to listen to what you want to say to her. I left with much sadness for my dad’s situation but I am confident they will all do their very best for him while he is in their care. Thank you Ellie and your caring team x

Awful place. It's nothing more than a residential home. I do not believe it's a specialist facility for special needs such as dementia or Alzheimer's as the staff don't seem qualified enough for this level of care. The Manager is not caring or professional. Basic needs are not met and residents are ignored. I could list a catalog of issues we have experienced in the short time a member of the family resided there - never again. They have proven to be negligent and I would never recommend them to anyone. Think twice before placing someone here!!!
