Had surgery at the hospital a week ago and was told to get more painkillers from my GP. I’ve been in constant pain and have contacted the practice every day, but they’ve been no help at all. I keep getting pushed around with no proper solution, and it feels like they just don’t care. Recovering from surgery is hard enough without having to fight just to get the medication I was told I’d need. Really disappointed with the lack of support.

One of the worst experiences I’ve had was with this surgery specially the rude and disgusting female receptionist! I would advise this surgery to replace the female receptionist as soon as possible! Took me 3 months to get a phone call from one of the nurses/doctors to register me for this GP and when I called back to check whether the registration process is completed , the rude and annoying receptionist told me no I was not registered and she hang up the phone straight away !!! How awful a person can be to be working in a healthcare system! I would advise the manager to replace the rude receptionist with a nicer person !

Doctors are decent. Certain receptionist rude and unhelpful. Asked to take my details just barked back only emergency’s left at 8:14. She didn’t know me or my situation. Don’t get back to you about results so you have to constantly chase them for them. Happy to send you pointless messages on the nhs app but not your results. Don’t know how they’re still in a job.

An absolute disgrace. Advised by a colorectal surgeon last week to inform my gp practice that I need urgent surgery. Just phoned and the receptionist was absolutely disgusting. Told me I shouldn’t be ringing as it’s not an emergency. A&E doctors told me that if I didn’t get surgery asap I could lose part of my bowel.
She was rude, intimidating, embarrassed me and refused to give me her name.
Very reluctantly she then asked if it was urgent enough to warrant a GP call.
I’ll be submitting a formal complaint.

Been going to these doctors pretty much my whole life (and I'm now 40). Don't understand the negative reviews as think these guys are great. My wife and kids go to another doctors which is more convenient to where we live, and I have no intention on changing to them. These guys are brilliant. Of course there's waiting times at present which can be frustrating, but every GP surgery is like this at the moment. When you're with them they diagnose you quickly and get you sorted. Never had any complaints whatsoever with this surgery

Got told to phone on the morning so I did. Phoned 33 times at 8am before I got through. Told to call back the next day told there were no appointments left by a rude obnoxious receptionist.
Called 111 later that day, referral went into the doctor within 10 minutes called surgery again receptionist said she will ring me back before 6. Called later only to be sat on the phone for 15 minutes on hold and then to be cut off a few minutes before 6pm (when the surgery closes).
Yes there may be a lot of other patients who need a doctors appointment but to be told to ring back constantly and being told I will get a call back and didn’t is quite appalling.
I feel with this surgery it’s only the “regulars” who get appointments ASAP.

Telephoned surgery to go see the nurse practitioner who told me to ring the surgery and tell the receptionist that I had to go see him straight away if my symptoms hadn't cleared up after taking antibiotics .I was told I could have an appointment in 7 days time at which I told the receptionist that he wanted to see me straight away and she put the phone down on me.These receptionists are so rude and unpleasant
