I have only ever had good experiences with this surgery. The reception staff have always been courteous and helpful and I have got appointments when I've needed them. Any of the medical team I have seen have always been polite, listened to me and discussed a plan with me. Following a recent discharge from hospital, the surgery has been very organised with my aftercare and everything is in place for me. I would recommend the practice to others.

Absolutely abysmal. Filled in a request form for migraines and got a phone call from a pharmacist. They didn’t ask any questions just said you should get medication for this doctor will be in touch. Then got a text an hour later saying I have an appointment at Albion street. No address no context. I am not from St Helens and had to drive around for 30 minutes to find out where I was going. When I got there it was an appointment with a nurse who was googling everything on her phone. She couldn’t prescribe anything for the migraines so said I need to go through patches again to request a GP appointment. I’ve done this now and they’ve given me an appointment a month away. I’ve been told to continue using paracetamol which doesn’t help until my appointment. Just shocked as this could have all been sorted in a single phone call from a GP but instead I’ve been passed from pillar to post and now have to suffer for another month with debilitating migraines and no help.

Staff have no empathy for patients. Ring at 8 every day for two weeks and can not get a appointment staff need mental health training talking down to people discussing I moved to this surgery because people said it was good would not recommend I've been a patient for a few year now and only ever seen a doctor a few times they palm you off with a nurse noone should have to suffer at home because of incompitence.

Scandalous low quality service. To get appointment you need to ring 8am not (8.04am as all appointment will be taken), and pray that you may be lucky be 3th in queye not 10th. Only few appointments available per day from 2 up to maximum 6. Arogant receptionists will tell you a lot lays how busy they are or they have sickness or training, giving any excuses to explain why you can't get to GP. I'm trying get appointment since 3 week. No appointments available to book in advance even for 1 or 2 weeks forward. THE WORST MANAGEMENT EVER IN LAST 15 YEARS IS IN CHARGE FOR THIS PRACTICE.
SCANDALOUS!!!!
Maybe by Neen greedy you have registered too many people in practice?
Every year is worse.

The appointment system is ridiculous and aimed only at those with online access and accounts.

On 5th August Iasked for an appointment and was told next available is in October, unless I go online and can then get one in a few weeks. Why can’t they just give the nearer appointment over the phone.

Since Covid the NHS and booking regime has become so ridiculous it seems unreal. Whatever happened to getting an appointment within the week, having to resort to a competition at 8am every day in the hope the system is working and your call gets answered.

A total joke and what a sad state of affairs the surgery has become, worst of it is, whenever you do get there the waiting room is always empty so god knows what’s happening

The rudest most obnoxious set of receptionist that you will ever come across . They would all benefit from a customer care course!

Impossible to be seen. No allowances for seeing acutely unwell children. Thought I had a chest infection and was given an appointment by telephone 9 days later. The clinician could then only see me face to face 4 days after. Ended up arranging my own appointment with another service. Used to be great but would not recommend currently.
