What a great surgery for the town of dalton. All the staff really care and go beyond to help.
There is a really high demand with the number of patients they have,
Myself and my family would like to say a big thank you to the receptionists, doctors, and nurses who, even when ill themselves, still provide a great service. Dalton is lucky to have a great clinic.
When there is a great demand, there are mistakes/long waits. It's the government cuts, not the service in this case.

Often feel as though I am being fobbed off by doctors. I don't feel I'm being listened too at all. It's difficult because I'm having to make appointment after appointment to discuss the same issue. On attempt number five I may get a doctor who is prepared to really listen to what I'm saying and think about resolution. I feel this wastes so much time, it is also frustrating and exhausting for the patient.

There is one receptionist at the practice who is really quite rude, though everyone else I've spoken with has been very polite and helpful. On the whole the receptionists here are good but there is only one doctor I've come across that I have confidence in.

The surgery were outstanding inc spring for my son this week, nothing was too much! Dr Head even called me the next day on his day off to check on how my son was. When I took him back that day to Dr Anna she too did the same thing the following day. Fantastic personalised service and you can tell they really care. Thank you!

Not only have I experienced harassment from a receptionist, I have also had one of them "forget" to tell the dr that I was waiting outside. I struggle with a mask anyway, because anything around my face causes stress and anxiety due to my mental issues, depression with the added combo of lack of sleep as a new mum and the cherry on top with being on the spectrum. I was stood out in the cold for close to an hour. Not only did this impact me, but because my husband works he also was affected due to taking time with what he assumed would have been less than 30mins in total turned into 2 hours. I also breastfeed, so with that time I was then running late on feeding my own child, who refuses formula or any substitute. If this was a "punishment" for complaining the first time, then the staff seriously would need to grow up, if it isn't, then they really need to work on their professionalism.

It seems like every time I have to interact with this place there's either a foul-up or error on their part. Two weeks ago I was holding up the queue due to yet another comedy of errors and there were seven people behind me, all of the same opinion (And that wasn't a good one). I've tried and tried to get them to pull their socks up but it just falls on deaf ears unfortunately. They say people vote with their feet, and if there was another doctor's practice in Dalton there would definitely be a rut worn into the pavement between this practice and that one.

Do they even answer the phone?! As for waiting for a doctor to phone you, you wait and wait and wait and nothing ?
