Marine medical group has always been a great GP for me, the reception staff have always been friendly and helpful and the doctors have always been knowledgeable and understanding. The only reason I don't give a 5 star review is, I believe they could update their phone lines, rather than having one number for appointments and another for prescriptions. Also, the addition of an automated prescription line wouldn't be a bad thing

I'm recently registered at MMG having moved to Blyth at the end of last year. I'm very impressed with the service I've received so far from the very friendly reception team, some excellent advice from a GP and a very thorough Annual Health Review from a very friendly and professional member of the nursing team.

I have used the NHS App for all contact so far and have found it extremely easy to navigate and that my different queries were dealth with in a timescale I would expect for each - urgent treated quickly and routine booked in advance.

I've had a fab experience every time I have been. The doctor I see is caring and really understands what we need as patients. The staff are friendly and there are always appointments if in dire need. They listen and pay attention which I find refreshing compared to other places I have been.

Perhaps some of these bad reviews are from people who prefer to place the blame on others rather than their own behaviours. I have seen no one in my time being told to leave. Everyone is treated with respect from what I see.

I have nothing but good things to say about the practice. Dr Mason and Dr Murray visit the residents I look after in a care home and they are always helpful, have a good relationship with all the staff and the residents. Their bedside manner is second to none. They are happy to speak to family members if they have any concerns and listen to the staff regarding the residents needs and do what they can to help. Their dedication and passion really shows through on every visit. The rest of the team are always helpful whenever I have to ring and speak to them.

I changed from Monkseaton medical to Marine due to a house move. I find myself bragging how good my medical centre is compared to friends and relatives experiences, everything I've needed so far has been addressed promptly and professionally I would definitely recommend coming here.

Disgusting. The behaviour of these doctors is appalling. Refusing me treatment, letting me leave in agony with two people helping me walk without the correct pain relief. The doctors I have seen border on evil, which is not a word I use lightly. They knew for a fact that I had to come off my BPD medication, yet still "removed me from the practice list for my behaviour." MY behaviour?! Absolutely horrendous. You'd have more luck treating your own illnesses, waste of my time and NHS money. Avoid at all costs, I will be making a formal complaint about my treatment.

Worst doctors in blyth Dr Colin Mason doesn't know how to check a xray properly even admitted yesterday he doesn't understand mri scans either told me my lungs are fine then persist on me seeing a specialist to be told from them I have copd stay away from marine medical group worst doctors going amd the receptionists aren't polite that's a joke ain't it
