I joined Mapplewell Dental last year and have had several visits. Tariq is my dentist and explains everything fully, is very thorough, takes great care to ensure you are comfortable throughout and I have had some tricky work done. Inl would highly recommend this practice.

If fear of going to the dentist was an Olympic sport, I would win gold!!!!
But...... that was before I visited Tariq and the Team at Mapplewell Dental Centre.
The sensitivity Tariq showed towards my ridiculous irrational fears was amazing. He reassured me all the way. I never felt rushed, he listened to all my needs and made me as comfortable as possible. He was so gentle and calming throughout my procedure. His assistant was so lovely with me. The whole team including the Reception staff are so thoughtful and kind.
I have to keep pinching myself, as I can't really believe my luck in finding such a great dentist. I would award 10 stars if it was an option!

I never leave reviews and don’t like the culture of not being able to do anything without either being sent a survey or asked to review. So if I do it must be something special. It is. I had very broken upper front tooth from last Sunday and expected weeks of visits to sort it out. But within 48 hours I had a shiny new front tooth built up on the remains of the old one and not the huge bill I was expecting. Emily you are my hero of the week 😀😀. I didn’t even know that could be done!

All of the staff at the practice are super helpful and friendly. I started to be treated by Dom 6 years ago when my gums were in pretty bad shape, with Doms help I've turned the gum disease around. I love Doms ethos of dentistry and his patient led approach to treatment. He is the best dentist I've ever had.

I have been attending mapplewell dental centre for over 20 years and have always been warmly welcomed. On occasion I've required urgent treatment and I have always been treated straight away. All the staff are brilliant and are very accomodatiing. For example, a couple of years ago I was on crutches for a time and couldn't get up the stairs. At the time the staff arranged all my appointments to be held downstairs. I cannot recommend mapplewell dental centre enough.

Dr Shahbaz is a LEGEND of tooth extraction!
Was I looking forward to a tooth extraction? No.
Was I expecting a lot of pain? Yes.
Was there actually any pain? No. None whatsoever.
Was it all over in a jiffy? Yes. In and out in 10 minutes.
Was I allowed to take the offending tooth home? Yes. Gotta be worth at least £50 from the Tooth Fairy 😉

My family 3 generations, have always visited this dental surgery. Reception staff nurses hygienist and dental staff are approachable friendly and brilliant at their job. Will never move.
