Had a text from the surgery 16/11/23 to say I had an appointment with the GP at 2pm. I arrived for the appointment and was told that I had rung the surgery and cancelled, this was not true.I suffer with my mental health ,but I am not stupid.
When I tried to explain to the receptionist she laughed at me.
Because of my condition I struggle to leave the house and it took all my willpower to go to the surgery.
I told the receptionist that I would like a word with the office manager, after which she told me he was not there. I said I wanted to make an official complain, but guess what no one contacted me.
Despite taking a hand written letter into the surgery a week ago, addressed to the practice manage saying I wanted to make a formal complaint and asking for a copy of the complaints procedure I have heard nothing.
It is no wonder the reception staff behave as they do, obliviously taking their lead from him. Very poor service. This practice was very good a couple of years ago, but not anymore. Seems like it is a lot of trouble for them to deal with patients

Doctors are super dismissive of anything you go to visit about. Been 3 times in the last month about my son who’s presenting all the symptoms of cows milk allergy to be told it’s colic and he’ll grow out of it. No helpful information on how to help etc. No looking into if it’s an allergy just told to come back in a week/ two weeks.

I would leave zero if I could .. waited 27minutes to get through on a Friday at 4.40pm eventually I got through to book an appointment for ears to be irrigated for my uncle to be told I have to ring Monday morning at 8 which I was led to believe these appointments are for emergencies! So I will ring Monday morning and if they ask if it’s an emergency I will say no as it isn’t they had best deal with me and provide an appointment with the nurse. The staff are also very rude and really don’t care what you have to say .

Reception staff are helpful and I always manage to get an appointment when we need one desperately. On occasions instead of an appointment the doctor will call back to offer the best course of actions. It does sometimes take a while to get through on a morning but my query is always dealt with efficiently once through. Have changed my 1star review to 5star

Sham, refuse to see patients face to face, not taking symptoms seriusly, assigning all problems to mental helth or lifestyle. They just trying to push painkilers and antidepressants on you.Getting refferal or tests is like trying to squeeze water out of the stone.the worst of them all

On my appointment for a blood test, unfortunately, I was confronted by a Receptionist who took exemption to me not wearing a mask! I am exempt from wearing one due to my multiple disabilities, I also have PTSD and struggle in certain situations ! I am attempting to overcome this and have just started to try and do things (appointments)on my own usually my carer comes with me .
However unlike trained professionals who have some reserves and attempted to calm and pacify situations this person went on to attack and humiliated me .
I foolishly reciprocated to defend myself resulting in said receptionist standing up and leaving her post.
5 days later I received a letter giving me a stern warning that I have devastated a member of staff and it won’t be tolerated.
So if you need to visit this practice The Doctors there are brilliant caring and empathic to their patients if you can get past the uncaring: un empathetic receptionist (just one don’t know her name) from now on I will be attending with my carer again thank you for moving me backwards!,

I've missed 2 phone calls from my GP, so I decided to walk in hoping Dr. K would see me and check my infected leg which she already seen through photo I sent earlier through the GP link. I turned up to Allerton's site hoping Dr. K is there. The receptionist asked for my details and after that I told her the reason why I was there. She asked me to wait outside the reception area. I said no. "Let the doctor decide and not you". I have and infected left leg due to insect bite and I'm diabetic. I don't want it to get worst. She insisted that I should go to other waiting area facing the door. Then she lied to the GP. She said that I wasn't wearing a mask thats why she asked me to wait by the front door area. The GP told me this...that I wasn't wearing a mask. I said to the GP that I put on my mask even before coming our of my car. I can contest this and demand to watch the cctv cos I'm sure cctv cannot lie. She even perfected an act playing like the victim. Even the regional manager didn't say sorry and instead told me off!..like I was the one who was nasty. The name of the receptionist is THYRA. Be careful with her as she can tell lies even to a GP. In the end, I was prescribed antibiotics.

The phone lines are a joke. 45 minutes waiting before giving up.
