understand the NHS are struggling but it feels like this GP practice are useless on purpose. Call at 8am to be number 7 in line, wait 42 minutes to get to number 3 just for the call to randomly get ended - call back and am now 22. An absolute joke. I have never been able to get through to the reception at 8am the last year and a half I’ve been registered. If you leave a message to talk to a nurse you will be told to have to call back at 8am. Not to mention the pharmacy next to it is unpleasant at best as well.

The problem with this GP service is that they don’t know how to train their staff properly when talking to patients on the phone . Matthew & Dr Ahmed are fantastic. Jane is the only receptionist that is highly favoured because she’s brilliant, friendly, considerate and caring when talking to vulnerable patients like myself. Ever since Dr Honeyman has left there seems to be only a handful of staff here that give a caring environment. The Manager Jaqueline doesn’t know how to apologise for mistakes that she has made such as not putting through food parcels for vulnerable patients when they themselves gave her 3 days notice. I feel really let down by this place and unfortunately they have caused me to self harm from stress and depression!

Extremely rude and unprofessional Receptionists. Every time when I need to book an appointment or referral takes me weeks and having to escalate issues with the Management teams. They have put the phone down on me when I was pregnant and had to go in person. My baby first immunisations was “forgot” there was no slot and we had to come back another time. Today when I went for the 4th time to ask if they can assist me booking my baby next immunisation I was told to “Go Away”.The issues are and-less.

I rang my GP at 8.00 am and I was waiting for 1h 40minutes to talk to someone. By the time someone picked up the phone (9.40), they told me there were no more face2face appointments and they booked a video call using an app. I received the message and downloaded the app. The app doesn’t even open on my phone but after reading some reviews I downloaded it on my IPad. The app opened on my IPad where I could see all the information and the appointment, however, I could not “accept appointment”. After clicking on “accept appointment” it went to a blank page and didn't work.
Then I got a message on the phone saying that if I didn't accept the appointment in the next (first 30 and then 15 minutes) it would be cancelled.
I decided to walk to my GP where I was told nothing could be done. “If you cannot accept the appointment then it will be cancelled and you will have to try again tomorrow”. I asked if something else could be done since I had been waiting and the only advise was to ring the following day or to go to the walking centre. At this point I was speechless and the lady in Reception was quite rude. After she told me "you are going in circles if you want to go to the walking centre we are a very busy GP" I walked out crying.
10 minutes after that she rang me back saying that an appointment "just" because available and asked me to go back.
I appreciate the NHS is struggling and all but if your app doesn't work that's your problem and you have to fix it.
Also, how many appointments do you give in the morning? As I was waiting to be seen for 20 minutes only 2 people came out and nobody went in so I can't understand how there are not appointments available but the place is empty...

I understand that the NHS is overstretched. However, at the same time, I’m unsure where to turn to help if my GP practice cannot provide me with services I need. Dr Deborah Mabulu is an excellent GP and I always feel taken seriously by her. I 100% recommend her (hence the 1 star in this review).

The admin side of things and treatment from a male GP has been atrocious.

-You can only make an appointment via an online form usually open from 8am for 15 min max
-Expect to wait on the phone for at least 10 min, or have your incoming call cancelled
-When told to expect a text about an appointment you will not receive a text, you’ll have difficulties following up on the phone and are unlikely to be called back
-My repeat prescriptions are constantly not signed off in time leaving me with days every month where I don’t have any medication left.
-One instance a male GP has asked me why I’m on antidepressants and when I told him, he told me to “go for a walk” and told me that he doesn’t have time continue to listen. My mental health treatment and issues are well recorded in my medical history and the way he treated me made me feel worthless.

Phone line is either down or busy. Calling and trying to get hold of someone to make an appointment is always the hardest thing I ever have to do. Receptionist are extremely rude and condescending. They constantly give contradictory information and even give the wrong process such as telling me to book a routine nurse appointment using the GP form when it clearly says on their own website that those must be booked on the phone! Practice even forgot to send my lab test results until I called to enquire! Very unprofessional! This practice needs improvements and a better system.

Another review 6 months later - How many urgent appointments do you have on the day? They have merged and the service is worse. I was number 12 in the queue at 8am and when I got through they didn't have urgent appointments left. I dont believe that they have only 12 appointments for the day. They are booking these so called urgent appointments in advance for other patients as they like. And the other day I was number one in the queue and all the receptionist was trying to do was talk me out of booking the GP and instead booked me for Physio. And the physiotherapist made my knee worse. Now I can't get a GP appointment all over again. I am sitting and ringing them from 7.55am everyday.

Nhs should sack then all and shut down the place. Useless lazy staff and doctors. Covid is an excuse for them since 2020. Other GP surgeries are doing hot clinics for symptomatic people. Some are even seeing patients in the car park. THIS surgery is a joke and should be ashamed
