An excellent service from a superb team. I was Looked after from start to finish. All sorted with my new hip in a few weeks from initial consultation to walking upright some weeks later. Be careful, they don't pull any punches, they tell it like it is and what's going to happen. Personally i like being well informed.

Exemplary care from Professor Fehily and his team, nursing staff, radiographers and all the auxiliary staff I had dealings with. The clinic was recommended by a close friend and proved to be the perfect choice. In these days of degraded standards it is so refreshing to feel as satisfied as I am with the care I received. I am fortunate indeed to have the resources to be able to afford to cover the costs of this treatment and feel sad that there are so many that are not in this position.

Outstanding.
Professor Fehily and his staff are professional, friendly and very helpful.
This was my first hip replacement and I didn't really know what to expect. After my initial consultation with Professor Fehily, he put all of my fears to rest and explained the whole process in a very understandable manner.
The operation itself went extremely well and most of the pain had disappeared in the first week.
My recovery from the operation has truly amazed me, having been a keen walker all my life, I have managed to walk over 50 miles since having the operation only 6 weeks ago most of which has been done without the crutches supplied.
I cannot recommend the work Professor Fehily has done any higher. I've gone from not being able to walk any great distance for the last two years, to being back to a more active lifestyle in such a short period of time following the operation.
I can't thank him and his team enough.

It has been about 1 year and 4 months ago now, since I had my bilateral hip replacements. I am so thankful that Prof. Fehily suggested to have them both replaced at the same time....of course I had my concerns at first, however I was fortunate enough to be able to hear from physiotherapists about the successful outcomes after such procedure.
Although the initial phase of the rehabilitation might have been slightly slower than when you have one replaced, you soon catch up time as you go along.
The Hospital stay was really impressive, kind caring nursing and physiotherapy staff to look after you and the collaboration between the teams were flawless. The day teams were super fast, energetic and efficient and the night staff seemed to have a more relaxed, slower approach which brought a sense of calmness that you needed for the evening and night time.
After 4 nights I was discharged from the hospital with an added sense of straightness of my (scoliotic) spine. During the rehabilitation journey there were feelings of some pain and weakness of my spine and neck and a greater awareness of difference of power between my left and right side.
However now I can tell you that I not longer have any spinal pain and am functioning at a much better level than I ever did before.
I can put my socks and shoes on, pick things off the floor without thinking, carry 2 cups of tea up the stairs, squat easily, I simply feel at least 20 years younger, I can cycle faster, walk on the fells with greater ease and can get up and down quicker on the paddleboard with more confidence and not to mention carry 2 paddleboards- a total of 22 kg, with my husband...all thanks to Prof. Fehily's amazing knowledge and surgical skills and super supportive PA Christine Dixon. I am super happy with the service and grateful for the transformation of my life since having the bilateral MAKO hip replacements.

I was referred to Professor Fehily from one of his colleagues regarding the issues i was suffering with my left hip.
Professor Fehily was very approachable and very settling when i described my pain and issues i was suffering. A lot of investigation was done to ensure a correct diagnosis and an action plan was agreed with extreme precision and dedication from him and his full team. The outcome was i needed a hip replacement, the day of the surgery came everything was carried out with skill and due-diligence to a level that can really only described as outstanding. I did have a little issue that meant i had to go back to the Hospital, but the support i received at the Hospital, via e mail and on the phone was very humbling and showed the dedication and care Professor Fehily shows his patience. In summary Professor Fehily turned a worrying period for me into a process that actually settling and very reassuring. 6 Weeks post operation i have limited swelling, excellent rotation and movement and without pushing myself can walk half a mile per day - without the need for crutches. In summary if the was a 10 star plus option this is what i would give him and his dedicated team - Best wishes David
