I am very disappointed with the service I received here, if this is how we now look after and treat people with mental health, well then I am afraid we are all doomed. You have a meeting with these guys and then nothing, you’re on your own. Sadly we are going backwards, where is care compassion gone. There is a failure in the mental health system, hence why now there are many more people taking their own lives. Lack or just no support and I won’t say understanding as no one would be able to understand unless you live with a mental health condition. What chance do we have of having a normal life again with no support and the correct treatment.
NEW UPDATE - this place really is bad.
You wait ages for them to answer the phone, tried attending an appointment on Microsoft but I just couldn’t workout what I was doing. Brain all muddled from the stress trying to do it. So rang them before appointment but couldn’t get through, when I did get through, she said I didn’t attend so I need a face appointment, and she puts the phone down. So I ring again, on hold 13min to be told. She will email them and I will get an email of new appointment. REALLY. When I used to work in mental health it was way better than this. And that was many years ago. This place needs a total over haul. As it certaintly isn’t working at the moment.
New update, I have been on hold for over 30min today for them to answer that thing called a telephone, you know, the thing to communicate.
Communication here seem to be a major downfall here. I had an appointment on 11/3/25 regarding medication, I am not currently on any. And was told I would receive a call that day or the next. Surprise surprise no call, and still no meds. I hope I never have to attend here again.

Our daughter thought when she met Jane Hopkins over a zoom call last week that finally her medication (our daughter has bipolar 2) would be reviewed. It took so much time and effort to even get to that appointment. Sadly a week on and the promised new prescription that should have been sent to the GP wasn’t fulfilled. Jane has gone on holiday and either delegated it for someone else to follow up or just didn’t bother.

This is causing our daughter such stress that isn’t necessary if you’d only do your jobs properly. I don’t know how you can go home after work.

She called the team today who were the ones who told her about the prescription not being actioned… Supposedly they’re meant to telephone her back once it’s been done this afternoon.

Mental health team: I don’t need to tell you that people you are dealing with have serious mental health problems and you’re letting them down.

If you're in a terrible place & want to be completely neglected right up until the point you're about to expire, then get absolutely spammed with useless contact requests & be repeatedly told all the ways they can't help you until you leave, come on down.

Honestly, my experience at this place has made me wish I un-alived myself instead of wasting time walking all the way to town pretty much every time I go here & without fail I leave far more despondent, anxious & depressed than when I arrived.

If you're anything other than a healthy, wealthy neurotypical with some kind of minor inconvenience that'll solve itself in a few days, go somewhere that's not here.

Update:

After repeatedly wasting my time & telling me there's nothing they can do aside from harassing me I refused to engage with them anymore, at which point I've received the most passive aggressive letter from the person who made me feel the most uncomfortable with some flat out lies & further proof that she didn't listen to a single word I said while I was there.

Unless you're looking for that final push please avoid this place.

I had seen a lady to discuss my issues. In the middle of appointment when I started opening up a manager walks in and asks with attitude why are we in this room as she has an interview here and we are not meant to use this room.
I looked up, felt so distressed I left and avoided this place at any cost since. Be mindful you are dealing with serious issues there. No attitude needed over something petty. It was not my fault I was asked to be in that particular room didn't mean to upset anyone by turning up for my appointment.

Never had a problem with the staff and the service they offer. They truly looked after me before I was moved clinics (due to myself moving). Cannot fault my treatment. Thank you so much for everything you’ve done for me.

I had an appointment after asking for help recently. I saw Paula for an assessment and she was absolutely brilliant. She was honest, open and considerate. She made sure she was writing down exactly what I said and asked me to check too. The amount of times I’ve received reports containing things I didn’t say is huge, but Paula made sure this didn’t happen.
I understand I am unwell, but I also understand that there is no ‘quick fix’ and if you go here with the attitude that they can ‘fix’ you, then you will be disappointed.
Thank you Paula for your understanding, empathy and care.

I rand up on the 26th of February desperately seeking help as I suffer from BP and unstable emotional personality disorder and was told that everyone was busy and couldn't promise anything. What is the point of this service one they don't help when you need it. I feel I've been let down time and time again by yourselves. I was at the point where I wanted to not live any more and they didn't give to craps about me.
