I spent 1 week here segregated from the regular ward due to being underage.
I can say from my experience that most the staff here are awful. Rude and disrespectful. I got called names and was ridiculed by them. Some of the night staff lack understanding.

Is you give raw sausages
Left wet clothes
No bed sleep in due patient taken it.
Cleaner shut at me for cleaning up rubbish of floor put in bin etc
Only thing was good was a Asia lady given me a Beacon butty and present for Christmas and join party ❤️ 2019
I came back too this hospital 2023
Spent few days intense care ward
But because too daugous I was
Transfer too heather ward Airedale Hospital Keighley
Which give them 5 outstanding
I spent 5 week
The staff .food. bedroom etc was outstanding Especially get lot Active etc❤️

Lynfeild is a good place if you look at it in a good way when you're admitted 2 stars due to people given medication on the first night of a 28 assessment and the staff are arrogant sometimes and sick of their job, there's alot of hatred in this place from staff and patients and the food when in seclusion is not even edible, they administer alot of medications to make people in a zombie state sometimes and its not fair, people starving and coming off drugs left right centre don't advise visiting if you don't have too

Hello Mount, my mother before me was put in here before me and now she is non-existent to words except “rise” (that means wake up for her) now I was put in there and was not very pleasant, I got groomed by members of staff before they gave me a book, “rise” “awaken” “perish” the words kept repeating over and over and over it wouldn’t stop, overall decent place, food aight

Helped me during a crisis, gave me a blanket, water, snack and taxi'd me. The staff were friendly and helpful. They have neurodivergent staff which made me feel much better because the issue was about diagnosis.

Having spend a short time there i found the staff plesant and friendly. The food was amzing, home made and cooked fresh each meal time. The hosptial (Ashbrook ward) was clean and tidy for the most part. Paticents where rather messy. The staff listened to you and did their best to accomidate your needs within hosptial guidelines. My room was very large with a sink and window. 2 outdoor areas that you had free access to one non smoking. Nice lounge, working tv. Activity room needs a good sort out and re stock. Other areas for those granted with leave i did not visit. These places are not nice too go to, my stay was necassary and it helped, it is a good hosptial. 4 stars due to being short staffed however this was soemthing that could not be helped. the whole country is short staffed.

Without this hospital, I am convinced my younger brother wouldn’t be here anymore.
My mother has been emailing back and forth and we are grateful to know he is being cared for and they are doing what they can to help him positively.
I know he doesn’t have a vape, I know he doesn’t have his comforts but he is safe and taking the help.
Only 4 stars because 5 would be absolute perfection and it took a while to get an email address to speak with someone. Phone calls have never worked for us anywhere.
Thank you to this team, especially Jessica the ward manager.

Our mother was admitted to the Dementia Assessment Unit the middle of July from the Nursing Home she was at. The care our mother received at Lynfield was above and beyond any care we could have wished for. She was sadly put on end of life the middle of August; the staff on the DAU were so caring to her and all the time kept her dignity. They were very supportive to me and my sister explaining everything to us. The staff were all angels to our mum and thank them from the bottom of our hearts to every single member of staff who looked after her; you all deserve a medal ❤️❤️
