Update from my last post few months ago....

I give 5 stars....
Before I explain.....
This is for the doctors IT who ever changes the system....please stop changing it....

So after getting used to the new system as took a while to get the hang of....I rate 5 stars....

Why 5 stars

1 because they are good at seeing children who have disabilities and also myself who has a disabilities...I took my son to his appointment yesterday at lyndon primary care...doctor Fantastic dealing with a child who has autism....I let my son speak for himself as he limited verbal but it always important to let the child use his own voice.

Even though it can be a nightmare seeing a doctor I would say this to anyone yes can be nightmare but if it urgent you need to see someone ring 111 if you are unable to get same day appointment or go to hospital A&E but the only downside is the hospital moved to the new building which is not ideal. ( I am dreading the day that I have to visit new hospital)

But I do recommend lyndon primary care GP the receptionist are lovely plus all the doctors are really good.

Keep this up doctors plus please do not change the system if anything changes the way you book appointment for people..I have loads of ideas but I won't share on here..improvements need to still be made but so far 5 stars good.

This surgery experience was beyond disappointing. Despite calling at 8:00 AM, they claimed to be fully booked and redirected to an online platform, Anima, only to find no available appointments. It's frustrating to see such obstacles in accessing essential healthcare, highlighting the need for better healthcare services and perhaps even a health insurance system in the UK. It's a shame that in a country like ours, access to healthcare can be so challenging when it's needed most.

Anima is the worse thing that ever happened to this doctorโ€™s surgery, when they were based in carters green you were able to call and BOOK an appointment, now itโ€™s call at 8am or go online only to find that within 30 seconds itโ€™s reached capacity. I would seriously like to know what the ratio is between doctors and patients because at the minute it seems like itโ€™s 500-1. Also how for the longest time does the message when you call say that delays are due to staff absences!! Employ more staff, better still employ staff who can talk to people with a ounce of compassion and not accuse me of being aggressive just because Iโ€™m asking too many questions.

Friends that I speak to are actually able to see their Dr face to face. They're shocked when I tell them I can't even speak to a receptionist and that I have to use an online booking service. If you're fortunate enough to even be able to book an appointment (the Anima web page is available at 8:00am but fully booked by 8:01am) your specific request are ignored. I requested a face to face visit with the female Dr that I'm assigned to, to only receive an email stating they think I need a telephone call instead. I'm given no appointment time, so I have no idea when I will receive the call and I'm at work. I had to call, wait in a queue for about 30 minutes to find out this information myself. The receptionist said the doctor must have forgotten to email the confirmation over. I don't think they're even reading patients' requests properly. It seems they're just speeding through them with generic responses because of the vast numbers. I have never actually met my Dr in person, she liases with me via text. She texts my scan results and texts her very brief advice. Where is the personal touch? It's such an impersonal system, the care aspect has totally been erased, and I think it's a disgusting way to treat patients.

This Anima system does not work at all it is just as worse than the having to wait on the phone at 8pm to get an appointment. Before you could book an appointment on a system at 8pm for the available appointments for the next day then they stopped this and introduced this useless Anima System. My best advice is to call 111 and be directed to the Urgent Treatment Centre even if you wait for an hour to two to be seen by a medical professional it's better than this Anima rubbish.

Overall their standard of service is poor. Their new Anima system is ridiculous. They want you to put all your details and your symptoms on this and it takes ages to answer all the questions. They have not considered the people who have not got access to Internet or are old and struggle with this new system. People can't even get an appointment on this system. You have to wait till the surgery opens at 8am to try and get an appointment and as soon as its 8 you get into the system they say all appointments have gone try again the following day. How can appointments go if its only 8 and they haven't given you a chance to put your details and symptoms in. I would not recommend this surgery to anyone!!!
