A huge thank you today for seeing my partner S Vardy. The receptionist was extremely helpful. We received a telephone call followed by an appointment with Louise who prescribed treatment. The health centre is perhaps one of the best I've attended. All staff were friendly and greeted us warmly and professionally.

I have heard so very many critisisms of this practice for the last few years. People unable to see doctors, empty waiting rooms. The practise appears to be run by nurse practitioners, who are amazing. Rosie is brilliant , but devoid of most doctors, occassionally great locums or trainee GP doctors. Such a pity!

I called the practice last week as my prescription renewal suggested I needed an alternative medicine. The lady who took the call walked to Lloyds Pharmacy to find out what the issue was. She then called me back and said she would get a doctor to sign off on the prescription. I felt this was exceptional service given how busy the practice is and I wished I had taken her name. Thank you kindly for your service.

Managed to get an appointment for my mother whilst on holiday. The same day of enquiring. Excellent care from reception to nurse Louise who we saw. Friendly, caring and helpful. Would have had to wait 3 weeks at her usual surgery.

Since Charmouth surgery and Lyme Bay medical centre merged the service has been absolutely appalling. Non urgent appointments are taking up to 6 weeks. It is impossible to get through to Charmouth surgery without having to deal with secretaries at Lyme Bay, who send instant emails. Therefore it is not possible to speak directly with one of receptionists at Charmouth without actually going in to the surgery. I cannot drive due to a medical condition, so this is very difficult for me.
Overall the treatment has been good, when available, but the service very poor.
Dr Warner is a very good GP. But I would not recomend this practice

We are so lucky to have this fantastic service. The team are excellent, the service is superb, the staff are caring and all ably supported by the chemist next door for ease of use. The parking is exceptionally helpful and I'm appalled that anyone other than users of this fantastic facility would abuse the car parking - shame on those that park there that notices have to be put up to remind them the parking is for those using the medical practice only. We are so so lucky the NHS provides such an amazing quality service.

Had to take my daughter here whilst we was on holiday for a problem with her ear. They saw her straight away and the doctor was really nice to my daughter. Sort some antibiotics for her. Was a really quick service and and very helpful.

I am a regular tourist to Lyme. Having spoken to a private GP on line I was told I needed to see a doctor. I called the centre at 2.30 and was given an appointment at 4.30-at home there is no way I would have got an appointment. The doctor was fabulous and had even printed out details of my condition for me. I am beyond impressed!!!!!
