I honeslty can't really rate this place, I've probably only given it a 1 star as when your in the practice staff are genuinely really polite and lovely. But when calling all I ever get is line busy I can never get through at all until half 9 and at that point all appointments are booked. I wouldn't mind if I was calling for myself but I only ever call for my kid

I would like to thank Alison receptionist for following through with my enquiry about a recent procedure I had and was worried that I never heard anything. From that one conversation I had with her, I had a phone call from the doctor and an fast track hospital appointment all in one day. Thankyou Alison for caring x

Called this morning, number twelve in the queue....more than half hour later finally made it to number one. I let it ring for ten minutes with no one answering....what has gone wrong with this practice. Could the practice manager tell everyone how they intend to correct the problems proactively
without the excuses. Just to add, after I couldn't get through Idrove down and the person on the reception was helpful and polite.

waited 18 minutes on the phone as caller number 2. then when they answered they hanged up on me. not happy. now i got to phone and wait again
tried again in october just to ask for my medical evidence for uni and she said i need to write a letter to receptionist and then to the doctor and then they have to accept it. the way she spoke to me was rude.
i have the right to my medical evidence and she was saying. i have to be accepted to see it

If there were minus stars I would rate this practice as a minus. The practise manager has no interpersonal skills whatsoever infact she is a disgrace to the NHS. This week if they didn't know is mental health awareness week. My step daughter has suffered from mental health conditions since very early teens. She was told by the practice she needed to re register as she had been removed due to not answering letters that had been sent to her. The only letter she received was for a blood test which she attended 3 weeks ago. If there was a problem with her not answer letters why didn't they let her know then? She was asked to take her driving licence and bank statement to prove her address. These she took, she let receptionist know she was there, the receptionist basically ordered her to stand and wait and not to sit down. Her anxiety was getting worse and at no point was she even given a second look by the staff she was clearly in distress. The practise manager eventually turned up, she asked for the driving license which she was given, my daughter was still distressed and as she tried to show her bank statement on her phone she was physically shaking. She asked if the manager if she would assist her. The manger stood there watching her and seeing her in distress said "absolutely not, I'm not doing that and if you can't show me now you have to fill all the forms out" After my daughter eventually filled out the forms. She asked the manager would she be able to now put her prescription in for her medication which she urgently needs. The reply was " No you can't we need to process your registration" my daughter explained she was out off medication due to the practise removing her. The reply was " well call 111 then" and the manager walked away. Saying nothing else, and leaving my daughter in tears. And absolute disgrace!!

If I could give this practice 0 stars I would, awful practice and even more rude practice manager. No empathy for patients just defensive, my 8 week old had a terrible experience today, I asked for a second opinion and was refused and told the Dr is always right and they cannot override a drs opinion.. Then told to register at another practice, I was gobsmacked to say the least, I asked for a 2nd opinion thats all as my boy was handled very badly at his 8 week check up, making a formal complaint, seeking advice from pals and will be taking this to court if I have to. Do not register at this practice, esp if you have children
