I'm a regular visitor at Lonsdale Mews, being booked for a handful of gigs throughout the year. The staff always offer me the warmest welcome, they are so kind and caring with the residents there and we have the most fun! Everyone gets up dancing and singing along, or swaying in their seats and closing their eyes to relax and enjoy. The team in charge of the social calendar work their socks off to provide something new and interesting all the time, the residents have a better social life than I do! And the food is always delicious whenever I have been. If I ever have to go into a care home, I hope I end up at Lonsdale Mews!

I wanted to say how amazing all the staff and residents were in welcoming me to run a dance session as part of their Diwali celebrations at the care home. I was invited to share some of the cultural music and dance steps that the residents could join in with as a way to help them celebrate Diwali but more importantly, help with their mobility as another way to stay active. Everyone was joining in, it was a great way to get everyone together. I enjoyed some of the Diwali treats being made too. I'm so grateful for being able to share the culture with you and look forward to meeting with you again.

Our father recently stayed at Lonsdale Mews, after a fall at home and a stay in hospital. All the staff at Lonsdale Mews were professional, caring and friendly and it was down to their care that our Father recovered from his fall. We cannot thank them enough and they always made us feel so welcome when we visited. Its a lovely place and we would have no hesitation in recommending Lonsdale Mews as a care home.

I can't speak highly enough of Lonsdale. The facilities are excellent and there is a wonderful atmosphere which combines a caring approach with lots of very varied activities. Everyone is treated respectfully and as an individual. My Mum loved the food and found all the staff to be professional and compassionate. During times of illness the care was superb and communication with relatives was consistently good. We're very grateful to the Lonsdale staff and would have no hesitation in recommending the home.

Lonsdale Mews Care Home offers a beautiful and engaging environment for seniors. I recently led a yoga session there and was impressed by the residents' enthusiasm and the variety of organised activities. Dementia is bewildering, and in our experience, the local government services provision is not fit for dementia care. So when we stumbled upon the Lonsdale Mews outreach programme we rejoiced and revelled in it. Access to expert advice, well trained staff who understand and freely give ideal solutions, and Friendship Cafes, were all available to non-residents at the time we enquired. What a simply wonderful place!

Having carried-out extensive research with a number of care-homes in the surrounding area, we knew we had found the right one for my mother-in-law after the first show round. All the staff were very friendly and took time to have a chat during this visit. The staff turn over was not high which says a lot about the happy the working environment is for the staff. When ever we go to visit her there now she seems very happy and relaxed and talks about it as if it has always been her home. The rooms are very spacious and have all the luxuries you would want for yourself if you were moving into a new location. The care needs are done on a personal needs basis so you know that your relative is receiving the specialist care thats is best for them. All in all this would be my first choice as and when I need to be put into a care home. So if my kids read this, please take note. ;o)

A truly remarkable place with wonderful people. If you are unsure about what to do or where to take loved ones then pay this place a visit. I only popped in for a brochure for a relative, but I received an inordinate amount of great support and advice. If I was a few years older I would be packing my bags and moving in
