Surgery has gone majorly downhill. Would not recommend at all. First in the queue when the phone lines opened this morning to be told they have no appointments. Not even 1 appointment either phone call or face to face available. But when you ask you also can’t prebook.

My family has been part of this surgery for 30 years+ and it has never been this bad.

Fantastic surgery. I have been with a lot of doctors in my time but this surgery is the best I've been with. The Doctors and reception are always professional and kind and I've always had fantastic support from them. Highly recommended

Turned into an awful surgery! you can queue outside from 7/7.30am but guaranteed even if you secure an appointment you won't be seen before 9am even though they open at 8am .
Patient access is saying I need a 3 party authorisation now and wont lwt me online, the surgery don't know what it is so I can't order prescription, been without meds almost a week because I can't get over there to order it in person and the receptionist won't do it over the phone .
Last appointment I had was with the nurse and she kept me waiting almost 40 mins past my appointment time, even though I kept seeing her walking in and out of her room with no other patients

I have always had a really positive experience at Long Lane. The Patchs online system has worked really well for me to save the hassle of trying to ring through and I've always managed to get an appointment for myself or my children when we've needed one. Each time I've seen a nurse or doctor they've been kind, supportive and helpful. Thank you.

having phoned. the night before going to the surgery to see what the procedure for appointments was , was told by a lovely lady that i would have to queue from 7.30 am the next morning to get an app, Having stood in the teams of rain from about twenty past seven till eight. o clock and being fourth in queue only to be asked what’s wrong and then being told there was no more appointments left . Three people in front of me got an appointment . This was my only day off in two weeks and was hoping to get to see doctor . I have now been given an app for two weeks time . Phoned 111 and after all the questioning off them i am now waiting for a doctor from the surgery to phone me . How ironic. We should not have to tell receptionist what is wrong with us while there are people right behind that can hear everything we are saying

I have been with them s GP surgery since Nov 23 myself or my children can never get an appointment they have taken things of my prescription that were on from previous doctors in speke and when I went in other week was actually told to buy my own medication even though it was GP surgery whom took it off this surgery is absolutely disgraceful I have hypertension and in last surgery was monitored monthly due to it's been unstable for a long time take your own in this surgery and they log it 😂also you have to queue outside to get appointment but still can't get one this surgery a joke

That gp is absolutely nightmare, no way to book appointment even in advance, never answer the calls, start booking form 8am while there is no chance someone pick up call until 9 when all appointment are no more available. Unkind and no helpful reception stuff. They tried to tell my mum doesn't have any appointment last 2 years while she been here a lot times during last year about joint and heart issues. Absolutely disgusting how trainings people... do not recommend at all. So glad I change my gp years ago.

Generally a good practice but ridiculous trying to call up at 8am, only to be told either all appointments have gone or to be given a slot that is unsuitable, some people do work for a living and cant swan out in the middle of the day for a non urgent GP appointment.

Wouldn't it be better to be able to pre book appointment say for the following week or few days in advance, but that would be too easy and convenient for the patients which the surgery don't like to do.
Receptionists are like mini Hitlers picking and choosing who the GP can and cannot speak to. Asking personal questions over the phone or at the desk in view of other patients.
