0 stars. Visited a relative who was trated appallingly by the nurse assigned to ehr. She looked unkempt a din ilm health and complained that despite complaining about physical symptoms and potentially requiring antibiotics for an infection they were ignored with no medical assistance.
The nurse spoke to relative aggressively as if she was addressing a prisoner. Relative got upset when we were leaving and nurse mocked her and scolded her to hold the bag that was being handed to them despite it being very heavy and relative being distressed. Was disheartening to witness and before leaving spoke to the duty lead nurse requesting urgent medical appointment to have pain and symptoms checked out. Her attitude was argumentative and disputing that the patient had any symptoms or had informed them. Just a place where pills are forced and patients are bullied into some sort of compliance- not there to support them but tock boxes. No wonder patients tey and flee for that kind of hell. Needs investigating and staff who neglect patients, are coercive, project a cliquey and toxic work have no place in such roles - no wonder the patients feel desperate in addition to their original symptoms because the staff working their are only good at covering up their abusive ways but happy to earn £££’s whilst abusing the power assigned to them.

Was here on a 136, staff were really nice to me however the whole place was just quite overwhelming, firstly we waited for at least 40 minutes outside with police waiting to be let in even though they knew we were there, being searched , cameras right in the toilet so no privacy etc… then went they had a mhaa I don’t really felt like they understood my situation, I was discharged straight away and I feel like they could have explained their discharge plan with me better as I wasn’t told what they were going to do to help. Not a dreadful experience considering the circumstances
Real Truth
Forcing drugs on patients that they don't need, anti psychotics are forced upon most patients even of they don't need them, an inquiry needs to be made into the abuse that goes on behind closed doors

Was taken to Littlemore on a 136 earlier this year. I found the care staff to be good, although it was somewhat humiliating when arrived and had to remove various items of clothing (understandably). Yet I was allowed to keep and use my phone - they even said they can charge it up if needed.
I was assessed by 3 or 4 psychiatrists who decided that I wouldn't benefit from being admitted onto ward as an inpatient, so sent me home to have [hopeless] "care in the community".
I later requested a copy of the psychiatric report (you have to do so in writing) and there are so many errors that I'd rather that they hadn't bothered with writing a report at all. For example, the report stated that the assessment took place 1 day after I was there. I was taken to Littlemore due to an attempted suicide that they dated several days after I was there! The next page stated that the suicide attempt was in the previous month.
The incompetence is astounding!

Was let down by the system some care don't get me wrong but I wouldn't send my family there either and now they put cameras in the bedrooms without permission from the service users some staff try to wind you up deliberately I had put 2 pens in my stomach Was asking for anti biotics no one listened to me and I ended up in Jr with a bad infection the same night. I haven't even got a criminal history and I absorb people's emotions and they put me with people with forensic history's
I think that's wrong.

I was in there for several weeks , I'd attempted to kill myself by slitting my throat.
I found it very hard being there, the staff are tasked with a very difficult job, with very little resources, the food and drink etc that they provide is of a very low standard, again, not the staffs fault, that's down to our appalling government.
2 years after being discharged, I am struggling with the same things as before, and I'm at a loss as to know what to do, I've had very little help, and I'm currently fighting with myself, because if things continue, I'm going to end up in the same situation yet again.

Appalling experience trying to support my nephew by coming into the ward round on Ashurst. Been kept waiting for 1.5 hours. Doctor has decided to take day off. Reliant on locums. I know that they are suffering from tight budgets and increasing demand but they should be biting off the hands of relatives prepared to help and get patients back into the community instead of people costing us all many £1,000’s by being stuck on the horrible hospital ward.

Night Staff treat the clients disgustingly as my brother is in there and they have twice now factory reset his phone he has lost all his sentimental photos his apps everything to then be left out and miss treated when he has complained about night staff and then yesterday another client was sick in the corridor and he informed night staff someone has been sick 3 hours before someone finally came to then tell the person who was sick and in pain to clean it them self disgusting behaviour if you ask me
