Been a patient here for many years, some years have been hit and miss. The reception staff are all rude and condescending. Told to do one thing, then moaned at for it. Recently, whilst being heavily pregnant I went in for a melanoma concern. Doctor never referred my "urgent" cancer referral. Now I'm having to juggle giving birth as well as potential cancer tests. Absolutely unacceptable. When I chased my referral after 17 days, I was met with patronising comments from the reception staff, as usual. Even after the Doctor admitting they didn't send my referral, there has been zero haste from them to ensure I am seen quickly. Once I have given birth, I fully intend to submit a complaint further up than the surgery, who clearly really don't care about their patients. Do better.

Thus surgery pays its Drs £42,000 a year yet charges the NHS £360,000 a year for that same Drs! I'm holding an awareness campaign outside shortly to see if direct shaming makes the Drs blush, cringe or confess to being the part of the probem they actually are. The partners and management should be held accountable and face charges for gross profiteering whilst premoting suffering. Feel free to contact me if you need any background info on the practice or want to help raise awareness of the potentially corrupt way GP Surgeries are being run these days. Their ignorance is the same flavour politicians use.
I have given the partners time to explain themselves- about 4 months so far, their sanctimonious attitudes see me as something they have accidentally stepped in and their refusal to talk to me only confirms my initial thoughts, its not you they care about, its the other 14,000 of us and the 3 million pounds the NHS pay them - THEY STILL GET PAID FOR YOU IF THEY CANT SEE YOU... I am fighting these poor excuses of Drs for my kids and the next generation. Seriously- if you've just moved to the area I'd take your custom else where, these partners would honestly struggle to spend and more NHS credits.

hit and miss experiences with this surgery.
doctors are actually helpful however, I was waiting for a neurology referral for a spinal issue for over a year because no one could be bothered to even make the referral to get the process started - I could’ve become paralysed in this time due to pure negligence. No one contacted me to discuss MRI results with me and the receptionists are often rude and condescending. Not one to slate the NHS but bedside manner could be much better.

I came into the surgery at Great Notley this Wednesday the 5th December. I want to praise Jane the Nurse Practioner for giving me the best service for my all round health. Even giving me a blood test form for a test due in January 2025.

Having moved into the village a couple of years ago I have nothing but praise for the way this surgery is run. I have almost always secured an appointment fairly swiftly and I have always been seen within a few moments of arriving. The staff are very efficient and helpful. I have always felt heard, understood and supported by any of the medical team that I have seen. The facilities are clean and well maintained creating a comfortable and calm environment. Keep up the good work!

The service is absolutely awful! We have a new born baby and we was refused our appointment because we was 20 minutes late as our baby had an accident on the way there. There needs to be more leeway with babies having there injections as it isn’t always possible for a baby to be on time as parents would know. He had to wait another 3 weeks now which is unfair.

The nursing staff have been proficient in administering injections and treatments.

The doctors take ample time to inquire about necessary details and offer thorough diagnostics.

They diligently follow up and provide advice for optimal health.

The restroom facilities are consistently clean.

The check-in system operates smoothly, and the online system provides access to personal and medical records.

Dangerous doctor who makes errors on cancer referrals, receptionists that are so rude when voicing concerns, currently going through a complaint with Essex ICB as the surgery are so dismissive of this Dangerous doctor and trying to brush it under the carpet.
If you are elderly or have elderly relatives that have had cancer or are currently fighting it please DO NOT USE THIS SURGERY.
