Took my son in who is 10 years of age.seen Lisa.the nurse for his asthma.she was not a asthma nurse.but was booked in for one. Past 4 days he's been waking in the middle of the night.saying he has difficulty breathing panicing running around crying.he could have a asthma attack. he's under a nurse in Royton wellbeing centre.because of severe asthma.hes on a action plan.the nurse did not give me anything.for him even thought she said his nose and throat is clogged.and was coughing.the coughing makes it difficult breathing.she said if it get worse I should give him 10 puffs and take him to A&E.i told her we are here to avoid.the situation.to go A&E. She di not give me anything.i don't understand.the schools the government everyone does.not care about our children anymore but the first ones to complain about.a single absence.the worst clinic.i am looking for a new clinic for the safety of my.child.

We called at 8am in the morning for an appointment for my son with Dr Lisa Egerton. My son has eczema but she said to me she can’t prescribe any more, she said i need to buy medicine from the pharmacy. I saw all the other doctors they were all fantastic except for her.

Absolutely shameful Lindley medical practice has kicked my 66 year old mum off their books for no reason what so ever. My mum has been suffering a bad chest infection she rang lindley medical practice last week to ask for an appointment to be told she’s no longer registered at this medical practice since August 2023. When asked why she was told they sent forms off last year and received a form back to say she’s gone away. Lies Lies Lies as no letters received here. Now my mum is suffering and is in desperate need of antibiotics as she struggles to breathe.
Rang 111 was told an out of hours GP will call back in 2 hours waited 6 hours for the phone to ring only to be told a GP will call within the next 6 hours. Now I have to take the day off work to take her to A&E tomorrow. What a joke my mum has worked all her life paid tax and NI contributions and for what this absolute horrific service. I’m fuming and will be taking my complaint further.

Poorly run practice
Only one GP who is good if you get through.
Almost impossible to get appointments.
Reception staff, nurses and dr are polite and helpful but what can they do if only on the day appointments are available for everything. No pre bookable no online appointments, just to call on day at 8am to be on hold for over 45minutes and told there are no appointments available for my under 5 year old. Been like this since 2 years now. Been patient with the havoc due to covid but they still havnt bothered to bring things back to a reasonable standard. Especially access to appointments.

complaints are not responded to. Why a GP hasnt been replaced (been 5 years) and why appointments other than 8am are still not available.

So were left with the stress of out of hours which as we all know are a nightmare to get through aswell. Or the agony of attending A and E.

Used to be a good practice with 2 gps and locums as well with weekend appointments, no your lucky to get through on the phone and appointments only given for a clinician. Sadly not a good practice any longer, only one GP left to bare the burden and now doesnt even seem locums are taken on as you can bet any appointment Given isnt going to be a GP

Very upset with the lack of care and availability for appointments. Fix this soon or we will be leaving along with many others.

Absolutely disgusted at how bad Lindley have gotten over the last 3 years especially since they reduced priority appointments for babies from 5 apps to 1 a day.

When they first opened on a temporary agreement they were brilliant even did weekend appointments. Once they received the patients votes to continue running surgery on a permanent basis they scrapped weekend appointments and just went downhill from there.

Since the pandemic happened its almost impossible to get face to face for my young baby too, it takes 3 to 4 days of phoning at 8am to even get a phone appointment. After 3 telephone appointments for my under 1 year old In the last 3 weeks I asked for a face to face app today because my baby is not getting better.GP said I can bring baby in within an hour, I tried to explain I need alittle longer but GP didn’t care to hear it she insisted I attend within the hour or baby won’t be seen so I agreed. So when I finally did get a face to face appointment there was 0 flexibility offered which is not good when have other children to get to school.

I must say the GP’s and reception staff in general are lovely and GP’s used to be really thorough when seen face to face, but that is unfortunately not the case anymore and the telephone appointments with the GP’s are just pointless and rushed.

I will be changing GP, I know the pandemic has put an added pressure on NHS but I can honestly say after 3 years of going from bad to worse Lindley have no excuse for their lack of care & appointments for patients especially the vulnerable elderley patients and young children.

I do believe Lindley can return to a really good practice like they once were if patient feedback is taken on board and they actually make changes and manage the practice properly.

Appointment with Dr Zaluki (amazing doctor by the way) on Dec 16th who requested to see me in 4 weeks to review medication. Straight to reception where I was told they had no appointments before the end of January when this Dr was leaving. Receptionist was rude and couldn't help, rolled her eyes at colleagues when I insisted I needed the appointment. Eventually was given the earliest available appointment of 3rd February at 11am with Dr Ben Hamida (also a good doctor). This would be a 7 week wait for an appointment, which is appalling but I didn't have much choice (and isn't the first time I've had such a long wait). Arrived today, after taking time out from work as a teacher where my role has to be covered, to be told I had no appointment scheduled. How can this have happened other than if the receptionist on the 16th never booked the appointment in? Also now in a race against time to get repeat medication before my current set runs out. Some decent doctors here if you can get to see them but the practice is terribly run. I will be leaving after today.

Due to the ridiculous outdated appointment booking system I held off from booking an appointment for many months until my symptoms got worse. Last week I finally decided to try to book an appointment. I phoned at 1pm. I was caller number 2 in the queue. Guess how long it took someone to answer. 30 minutes. I ended up missing my lunch break just to book a Doctors appointment which shouldn't have taken 5 minutes in this day and age.
