This was a friendly and fascinating hotel! So unusual and uniquely decorated, we would like to revisit just to spend more time looking at the eclectic decor! We stayed in the Rumi room and we were then prompted to find out more about this interesting man. The service was great and the breakfast was fantastic with a buffet that ranged from traditional English breakfast items to more Mediterranean fare! Cannot recommend highly enough!!!

We stayed at the old library hotel for one night as we had come to London for a play at the Globe. Our stay was enchanting from beginning to end. The welcome was friendly, the space exuberantly and warmly decorated, and the room comfortable and tasteful - with coffee pods and aromatic tea on hand. There was a welcome drink ready in a friendly bar downstairs, and several comfortable spaces to meet communally Breakfast was beautifully presented, with exquisite attention to detail (sliced, dressed avocado; the widest range of exotic jams; lovely fruit and nuts) It was delicious, too. Thank you to all the staff who made our time so enjoyable. We have already booked our next stay!

We have just returned home after our second stay here. Cannot say enough good things about this place. It's been beautifully and lovingly restored to its current glory. Both rooms we have had have been quirky and excellently done, they are always spotlessly clean as well. Super comfy beds and lovely quiet rooms. The staff are always super friendly and helpful. We also took advantage of the spa and had the exfoliating massage which was such an experience. The spa is beautiful and the marble is stunning, the massage was amazing and we came away relaxed and with super smooth skin. It's a short walk from the closest DLR station and just a short trip to get to most places in London. We will absolutely be back here in the future and couldn't recommend this place enough. Thank you!

We tried the hotel restaurant as a valentines day deal. The environment and decor are beautiful, the food fine although nothing very special for the price point, but what was really underwhelming was the service. Starting with an awkward conversation with the waitress, who would not accept that we were supposed to have a complementary welcome drink until I pointed out the specific wording in my booking confirmation. Inattentive and unfriendly service
continued through the meal, including basic faux pas like clearing one guest's plate while the other is still eating. It's really unfortunate that this was the lasting impression of the evening. I strongly recommend the waitstaff have some training to improve their service; until then this restaurant does not meet its potential.

The location for us was excellent, as it was only a 5 minutes walk up the road to the troxy theatre, where we where attending a show.

The decor was quirky and very busy with so many things everywhere.

The room was very small, but had everything we needed for 1 night stay. Slippers, toiletries, mini fridge and safety deposit box. The bed was very comfortable but unfortunately the TV did not work in our room.

The breakfast was delicious, one of the best hotel breakfasts I have had. Amazing variety and everything was very fresh.

The sauna was out of order during our stay. Which was very disappointing as it was one of the main reasons we booked this hotel.

I was very positively surprised by this hotel - the rooms are spacious, super clean, and provide extra amenities that other London hotels don’t at this price point. The staff is super friendly and value for money in great. Of course the art design is a matter of taste, but the hotel is genuinely filled with fun ideas and interesting pieces. Will return!

We had an exceptional experience at this hotel. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous inside with beautiful art, decor and fun trinkets the owner has collected. The rooms are very roomy, modern, and comfortable. The breakfast is hands down the best hotel breakfast with tons of options incliding Turkish. The dinner at the hotel is very good. One night I had the lamb burger and another the Turkish ravioli that were both delicious. The hotel staff is very attentive, professional and impeccable attention to detail. Highly recommend this location.

We stayed for two nights. Travel to the hotel was simple, a short walk from Limehouse DLR station. Booking in was very easy, we were shown to our room by the receptionist. Everything about the decor is wonderful. The corridors have gorgeous art and floor coverings, the stairs to the mezzanine level and rooftop bar have lovely plants. During our second day we had a wonderful cream tea with a group of relatives who weren't staying in the hotel but joined us in the rooftop bar.
Breakfast was amazing such variety and great quality. This was matched by great service. Overall a wonderful relaxing stay.
