White water unleashed! Great fun! Thought it may have been tame but actually provided a great mix of fun, skill and excitement l. Our instructor Tim was very good and made it fun. The course is brilliant and had the right intensity and difficulty for all to share.

Many a face and stomach full of water but great fun for all abilities and ages. Would recommend to all.

Very safe as life jackets and wet suits provided. Get involved and get amongst it!

White Water Rafting Rodeo

Wow, when they say it’s intense they really mean it. You need to be a strong swimmer to manage in the currents. It’s rough and you WILL fall in, so be prepared.
Our instructor was strict and gave clear instructions which is needed because you could get seriously hurt if you don’t listen.
A brilliant day and it was fun.

You need to bring a swimming costume and they provide you with a wet suit and shoes. Parking is was free for our booking, which gave us 8 hours.

The grounds are really lovely and had we known, would have packed a picnic or eat lunch in the cafe.

Be prepared to do a swim test at the start, which if you fail you will not be able to take part in the activity.

The negatives were that our session was cancelled multiple times due to not having enough people to fill a boat which is very inconvenient, especially when trying to find a mutual date for 3 busy adults.

Had a great day at Lea Valley, white water rafting. Staff was helpful and friendly.
Great fun and accelerating going down the rapids. Nice places to eat and drink and have a walk around and watch family and friends taking part or what other people are doing.
It's worth every penny. Great fun.

Excellent venue built for the 2012 Olympics and great for getting up close to the action. Visited for the 2024 British Slalom Open finals and the 2024 British Kayak Cross Open finals. Such a great couple of days.

We went on a standard Saturday, until we discovered it was the day of the British Open. Though it was busy, we still found parking! Enjoyed watching what was going on, and had a good lunch in the cafe which had a nice ambience.

A great place for a day out. Lots of activities. Food and drink available. But you can take a picnic with lots of places to sit around the centre. Lost of paths for walking. Excellent place.

Great white-water course, Legacy for beginners, Olympic course for the more experienced. You need to book to be assessed first, which is fair enough to weed out the 'danger to themselves' people but the assessment on the Legacy requires you to get into a difficult eddy at the start of the course meaning you need to be a good paddler to be allowed on here. This is crazy as this is supposed to be a safe place to learn. Safe due to the watchers with ropes. This is a catch 22 situation. You can't get on it to learn or improve without being already good! Therefore how is one supposed to learn? The assessment needs to be lowered. Lovely water quality

Water runs fast, and great drops for some play all year round.
