I cannot recommend this place enough. My dad had an all too brief time here for the last weeks of his life and he couldn't have been better looked after by the wonderful staff there. While the home itself does need a little updating here and there, the management of it and activities are absolutely brilliant. There's always something for people to do if they wish, either in groups or alone. Residents birthdays are celebrated together, they have input into their menus and activities and are made to feel like valuable partners in what the home does. No surprise that the local shopkeeper and palliative nurse we spoke to described it as the best care home in the area by far.

I recommend this home. Its has excellant dementia trained staff that attend to the care needs in a person centred way. They have a activitys programme in place that enables all people to get involved and enjoy whats on offer.It offers both respite and full permanent places.

Very good care home I have visited this place quite a few times and the staff are amazing and friendly and the atmosphere of the home is amazing. If anyone is looking for a place I would highly recommend this home. 10/10 service
