It is custodial not care ,watch ,give pills
Make judgements
Staff Stand around watching not sitting talking to people not learning about the person the individual

Severe hearing loss how can someone with severe hearing loss be assessed how can that assessment be relied upon ? How can that assessment drive treatment how can needs be assessed? and addressed?
Severe hearing loss is a disability it can and does lead to inappropriate answers to questions to guessed answers because the question has been assumed not accurately heard

I believed the days of custodial care were long gone cavendish ward has altered my thinking it is truly custodial it’s is visually custodial . people are watched not interacted with

I am appalled with what I have seen what I have experienced on cavendish ward the way I have been treated
The assumptions made by staff inaccurate statements by staff inaccurate judgements subjective statements not objective care
Not meeting accurately assessed needs flawed assessment process
Why is not care in the community considered? familiar surroundings familiar people . home usual routines pattens of behaviour enabling cavendish ward is disabling
Why is distress judged to be agitation ? My partner is genuinely distressed being confined this is judged as agitation no it’s distress sobbing is not agitation it’s distress
Why does no one listen to the nearest relative who intently knows the person
Why is there no cohesive discharge planning early with nearest relative as a partner
I am told not asked ,my views dismissed
Cavendish ward is a soulless bland under stimulating environment

Maybe they don’t use torture methods.. But their methods are still evil , just covet narcissistic and sociopathic methods/ cruelty to the most vulnerable patients.Maybe they can send someone undercover with surveillance footage.
