Lakeland Fishery with Lodge & Pod - Chelmsford

Had an absolutely amazing time. Four of us stayed in the lodge which was spotlessly clean, and the private garden was great with the hot tub and fire pit. Fishing was brilliant, we fished Lilly lake and caught lots of carp. Our granddaughter tried her hand on swan lake and caught a 22lb carp.
Matt was brilliant all the time we were there and so helpful ,as was Jon the bailiff.
The owners Sue and Gary were also amazing, all in all nothing seemed too much trouble and all of the team made us feel so welcome.
We will definitely be back

Me and my 3 friends stayed in the Lodge for the weekend. The hospitality was amazing anything we needed they were there! i rung the day before and asked if they could decorate the lodge for one of the girls birthday and they did with pleasure! The baliff john was the loveliest most helpful man from fishing talk to take away recommendations. Caught some lovely fish between us and had the most amazing time. will 100000% be back. thankyou so much john,matt, Sue and gary! and to the members who greeted us with the warmest welcome x

Due to unforseen circumstances me and my girlfriend were unable to go abroad on the holiday we booked, so we therefore decided to look for somewhere in the UK to get away. We were not disappointed when we found this place, it's a good place to visit to get away from technology, they have pygmy goats, chickens and a lake that you can fish in on your own little area which is quiet. I found it very relaxing staying here and the hot tub is a nice touch!

Lovely place to truly relax. The yurt feels magical. You're in for an amazing view as soon as you come through the gate. The attention to detail really makes a difference - the owners have thought of everything. We didnt try fishing so can't comment on that but we highly recommend staying in the Lily Yurt. Also, they have pygmy goats!!

Absolutely fantastic place . Quiet and secluded .

Gary and Sue are perfect hosts and the grounds surrounding the lakes , and accommodation are beautiful.

The yurts are an amazingly relaxing place to stay and the fresh eggs were a delight .

As well as the hot tub , real fire and BBQ the fishing was amazing , I would recommend any of the accommodation, including the hideaway pod on the main lake , which I’ve also stayed in .

Absolutely beautiful place to go. Well taken care of and so much attention to detail. The yurts are a great place to stay (we've stayed in both Bluebell and Lily Yurts), comfortable, clean, interesting, hot tub under the stars... Perfect for a romantic get away or to stay with friends. Highly recommended, we've been twice and will go again next year!
