As gyms go, it is a bit smallish, but being AGE UK it's ideal for the slightly older generation, although younger people can use it.
The gym has recently installed a whole range of new equipment and is very well run by the friendly staff and volunteers who give up their time to help you with your fitness.
I am aware that you can have one to one fitness programs to suit your personal needs.
Myself and the wife have been members of the centre and the gym for a number of years now and we have met some very nice people there, also there are many other classes and activities to suit your needs at the centre,as well as a cafe where you can purchase drinks, cakes etc and a hot cooked meal at a reasonable price so there is no need for any one to be feeling lonely and not meet new people and make new friends.
There is a small car park with two or three disabled places, and approximately a dozen parking bays, more room can be found in the public car park almost opposite, and if you have a parking disc it's 2 hours free.

Great dementia friendly place that has a cafe, social area, hairdresser and other facilities. Nice reception staff and a great place for older local people to spend the day, have lunch and have social activities

This gym is amazing with everything you need for a good work out. All the staff & other users are really friendly and good fun. Nobody takes the micky out of you and all ages from 50 attend. It is a must visit if you want to keep fit and healthy.
