Hi , I have a member of my family in Gainsborough and I must say this place is fabulous. The staff are all wonderful, caring and go to great lengths to help the patients and visitors to feel welcome and at ease. I visit at all different times of the day and I am always met with a warm welcome and my family member is always warm, clean and comfortable Taking your loved one into a home is a very stressful and worrying time and you have so many concerns but please be assured that Gainsborough will look after them .

I have nothing but praise, respect and admiration for the nurses and careworkers at Gainsborough House who went above and beyond to care for mum on the Matise floor for over 12 months.
Lovely home cooked food and the home itself was always kept spotlessly clean, residents treated with respect and encouraged to join in with various activities according to their needs. Great on site hairdresser too.
I can't thank Mel, Kaz, Karen and all the nurses and care workers enough for their kindness and support not just to mum but extended to family members too.

I went there today to visit my aunt lovely clean place but noticed that everyone was all in one long room in front of the television which was dominated by sports blasting out, it was a noisy area and all huddled together with plenty of staff in this room. There were 2 lovely day rooms that were not in use which looked out onto lovely gardens. I thought it was a lovely day today “warm and bright”I think the staff could of had some of them out in the garden or at least in the rooms looking over the garden where it was peaceful and quiet, and not all stuck in the same crowded room with the television blasting out.

I would like to thank Clare & Lorena for duty over and above what you should expect. My mum was taken into hospital and no one on A&E could provide personnel care so my mum was getting sore. The ladies called me to see how mum was doing and l told them about the problem - within 10 minutes they both arrived at A&E not in uniform so obviously in their own time - they attended to mum’s personnel care and also brought in clean nightwear for her - absolutely amazing - my angels on earth - thank you does not seem enough ❤️
