Positives: the instructors are really good and super helpful during lessons. Price per month is good for the lessons you get.

Negatives: the grading system is badly flawed where even if you do three months of beginner classes and you know all the moves and you miss the grading to move up because we all have lives and commitments and I said if I could cancel until the next grading the guy at the reception said no. So I have to pay 60 pounds for another month doing the same moves. Not at all nice attitude from the guy at the reception.

But the instructors were always friendly and helpful.

Sheldon one should be closed down it's literally a mold pit i can't understand why any parent would intentionally pay for their child health to be damaged all for a sport this is the worst form of neglect.
The staff don't even acknowledge the smell and black mold throughout the whole building

I trained here until I moved away a few years ago. It's such a great gym I've re-joined now I'm back in town.

The coaches are very knowledgeable and professional. They teach to the level you're at and there's no assumption everyone wants to be an actual fighter.

There's also a grading system for the goal driven.

The current members all seem like nice folks too

Looks like a friendly atmosphere with experienced instructors. I wouldn't advise bringing anything valuable with you during your training, as there are no lockers provided.

I'm not saying that your belongings will disappear, it is just a security concern that you should take into consideration for a worry-free experience, plus they are not taking any responsibility for anything that goes missing.

Just finished my induction class at kstar Sheldon. I came in with 0 experience in anything of this nature. I found the staff (and even other members) very warm and welcoming and certainly beginner friendly. I'll be signing up next week! To anyone questioning if they should give muay Thai a go I'd advise this place 100%!

I’ve been the head instructor since the academy first opened in 2012. The academy is open 6 days a week offering lessons for children and adults from beginners to champion fighters.

The first lesson is free to try the academy to see if it meets your needs and expectations.

Id like to thank every memeber that has attend the academy for making it the great success it has become and making my experience of teaching a very enjoyable one
