requested a blood test two months ago due to health concerns, but the doctor only checked my blood pressure and said I was fine. It’s shocking that they ignored my request and assumed everything was okay based on blood pressure alone. This lack of thoroughness and attention to patient concerns is unacceptable. Health issues cannot be diagnosed properly without appropriate tests, and this experience left me feeling dismissed and frustrated.

If I could give this surgery a 0 I would!!!!

Wow the receptionist staff every single one of them I think there is 2 males and 2 females all of them I have spoken to are incredibly rude and unhelpful. They sound like robots they have been drilled to use this lack of empathy respect and communication with patients... Their lack of professionalism is disgraceful.
They always say there is no appointments released. What surgery does that? You call any other surgery you can get a routine appointment booked in for 8 weeks down the line!! Not here!! Kingsway Medical Practice makes it nearly impossible to have a face-to-face consultation with a doctor even a telephone appointment. Call 111 they have some appointments with our surgery. What is this The receptionists consistently provide evasive answers and display an unhelpful tone of voice. When you go into the surgery their fiddling with their fingernails biting their nails yesterday I literally saw a male receptionist doing this as he was on the phone his whole impression was “oh well it doesn’t bother me” not the first time every single time. This surgery operates in such a weird way compared to others I have been to. What is the point in the Kingsway medical online system when again we can’t book our own appointments?

No commitment to treat patients fairly

Every time need to call 10 times for a prescription to be sent to the pharmacy or it is simply not sent even after several months!

When I saw the reviews, I was a bit apprehensive, but this couldn’t be further from the truth. The receptionist was absolutely lovely and so helpful, the GP staff were brilliant and honestly couldn’t ask for more

The appointment system has improved immensely and I have been able to speak to a doctor same day whenever I have needed to, with face to face appointments then offered where needed that don't seem to be running to far behind.
Not sure how good they are with managing chronic or complex issues.
The phone system could still be improved and the waiting room seems to be in permanent darkness. The doors only open at exactly 8.30 - even if you have an 8.30 appointment.

I’ve been registered with this GP for last 17 years and 3 months . I never have any issues. I spoke to absolutely lovely receptionists this morning ; I am busy working single mum and 3 kids and juggling their appointments with GP is very very difficult. Lovely lady at reception put my query for my both children for duty doctor of the day and I got reply from them within minutes . Doctor Ye (& admin staff) both were amazing in getting me and my children right help straight away . Not only doctor Ye, but doctor whitehead ; Dr Kaye; all the practice nurses , they all been brilliant and listen to me. I got listened to almost immediately. I didn’t have to wait ages . I think new doctor on Call system and doctor triaging patient’s requests is amazing. I trust my GPs . I wish I could rate them as 5millions stars. You’re doing amazing job and keep it going. You’re inspiring.

If i had to give 5 stars i would . they always give appointment on time and same day if it is for my little 2.8 years toddler. Dr white head is the best doctor very experienced and always there to give you advice and very soft spoken and friendly and down to earth and Dr jan is really a kind lady so helpful and the nurses are really kind and soft spoken.

I have had nothing but positive encounters with Kingsway in the 11 years I have been with them, not just in regards to myself, but my children too - thankfully its not many times I've had to do it but if any of them have been in A&E for whatever reason, I have a call the day after to see how they are. Most recently I had a little bit of a worry so emailed my GP and within 15 hours I was in the practice being seen to, and a prescription provided. They always get back to me within a more than reasonable time frame. All staff are extremely helpful.
