I broke my left ankle and was seen in this hospital. I would say the wait time is expected as it's emergency care they put priorities in needs instead of come first come serve. 2-3 hours wait. What I found this A&E is totally underrated. The receptionists, the nurses and doctors all I had encountered are so kind and great. They treat you like a caring family member not just a patient, they helped me carry my bag without being asked, I have never seen doctors are so hand on on helping all the needs for the patients instead of asking nurses to do for them. I have to say a personal thank you and appreciated for all the advises and treatment I received from Dr Christopher Knox. He didn't jump to conclusions when I came back to check on my cast, he took time and discussed with other doctors on my case and got the best solution they all agree on to do. He even put on a cast for me personally and I saw him clean up the station after helping me with the cast. That's not something I ever seen in hospital, usually they get nurses or cleaners to do it. And then he quickly got to see another patients. I think doctors and nurses are all very hardworking on this hospital and people should appreciate them more, don't take them for granted. They work through holidays and weekends 24/7 for the people, it is very hard job. Be kind and appreciate what they do as they do it because of they want to help people, it is not a high paying job and they deserve more respect.

1 year ago I went in to A &E and was quickly diagnosed with pneumonia n pleurisy, the hospital was clean the staff were patient, informative, busy but kind.
I was admitted to Intensive care with sepsis, the team of doctors, nurses and care was amazing..they saved my life. The wards were cleaned, sheets changed daily I can't speak highly enough of the full treatment..thank you

The 2 Nurses there today were wonderful,
The one doing the examinations was so informative & took her time to explain .
I can’t thank her enough.
The other Nurse Vera who was assisting her & taking my mind off was lovely & so kind as well.

Am Writing on behalf of my mum . She currently in iris ward . She been in since Sunday she can't fault them. There nothing the nurses won't do for you .. . My mums is a very happy patient. .

Paediatrics A&E are amazing. Lovely nurses and doctors that not only checked over our daughter, but played with her until she was comfortable!

The hospital waiting time, reception and stuff can get zero star. But this 5 star is for Paediatrics A&E ward who has amazing nurses and doctors. They are so dedicated to their job and waiting time is generally not overly long. Thank you doctor and nurses at Paediatrics A&E especially 4 January 2025 during midnight 1.15am..

Absolutely the best team from the reception area to urgent care to ultrasound team to blood test team and children emergency team. Super efficient, kind helpful. The consultant, surgical team and children emergency team were super helpful given clear advise for my 7 year old . I am always grateful for NHS team everywhere and kings hospital team kept my confidence and believe.
I wish the best for the team for doing amazing work for the society.
