Disappointing Experience with Kare Plus Redbridge

My experience with Kare Plus Redbridge has been incredibly frustrating due to several key issues. From the very start, communication has been poor. They promised social services that they could accommodate specific times for morning and night calls, but they have consistently failed to deliver. Scheduling has been a nightmare, with visits being excessively early or late, and there’s never any notification to inform me of these changes.

Emails go unanswered, and even when you notify them of cancellations or adjustments, carers still show up at the wrong times, showing a complete lack of internal communication. This happened despite following up with both calls and emails.

In the beginning, different carers were sent twice a day, every day. This lack of consistency made the experience even more challenging, as I had to explain my needs repeatedly. There seems to be no communication between the office and the carers regarding the specific help required.

On a positive note, the carers themselves have been amazing. They are hardworking and attentive, which is the only redeeming factor in an otherwise stressful and disappointing service.

I would not recommend Kare Plus Redbridge unless they drastically improve their communication, scheduling, and internal processes.

London Kare Plus - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

They have no idea what person centred care is. Your loved one is just a £ sign to them.

Carers are paid minimum wage, are not experienced and given impossible travel schedules. They also don’t get paid for travel.

This company is only about money and no local authority should give them hospital discharge contracts.

Missed medication x 3 in 5 days.

Medication not on company app for carers after 7 days

Some Carers do not or cannot read simple instructions

Lacking communication and common sense

Wet clothes left in washing machine - family not notified

Office Coordinators don’t take complaints seriously and are bordering on rude when things are flagged

Office staff lie to family and blame carers for lateness when they allocate the shift for times other than agreed in care plan

Carers often turn up very early of late which impacts on medication administration

Horrendous experience every day so far since care started on 6/2/25

We would like to thank Tori for sending two amazing workers, Mohammed Rehan ali khan and Irfan Hussain to care for our dad. Both Rahan and Irfan were professional, kind, and genuinely attentive to our dad’s needs. They went above and beyond to ensure he was comfortable and well looked after. They are the worst agency ever. On the first day the carer was on the phone and that was a personal phone call he was talking in his language. They don't know what they are doing they come for 15-20 mins and say I have to go. A carer called Sam came to me not even for 5 mins and left. People don't let the hospital transfer you to this agency. Stay in the hospital or get family or friend to look after you. Im still waiting for the agency to transfer to my local social services because i still have a care plan. These Indian people will stress you out they don't know what is Crutches or a walking frame. Stay safe people. I wish there was half a star because that's how bad the service is
