These ppl offer a narrow service - when it works it is ok - when it doesn’t you are on your own and their after sales care and customer service is faceless. My husband had a appt with just ears- the next day his ears were still blocked. I phone JE to get him seen again. I spoke to their Admin team in head office and all they can offer is an appt in two weeks- no discretion , no flexibility to try to accommodate . The person I spoke to was like a robot working from a badly scripted autocue - obstinate, unhelpful and careless. I was very frustrated as we went to JE because we could not wait for a NHS appt and now have to wait another two weeks ! The person I spoke to thought I was being rude to her when I challenged her to get my husband seen to quicker. We could not speak directly to the local branch we went to and we could not speak to a practitioner to understand the issue but an admin person who is totally disengaged and have no sense of customer service, who was offended when met with a demanding customer. In desperation my husband drove to the branch clinic to attempt to speak directly to a person who might be more helpful. He could not speak with anyone from JE but explained to a very helpful lady whose company shared the same building as JE. The lady promised that she will contact JE and get him some help To cut a long story short , someone did and offered him an appt in another branch for in a few days later. Why didn’t the lady I spoke to at their head office did that In the first instance. Today my husband received an email fromJE complaining that he was rude to their staff ! He was not rude to anyone , it was me who was demanding- so what’s wrong with that. Does ppl in customer service not be able to differentiate between customer who expects service to customers who are rude. All I can say is JE needs to have a higher aspiration for better customer care and service.
We would not recommend JE as like my husband you could be an unlucky customer who got a shoddy procedure and have no recourse to prompt after care to sort out issues.
During his second appt. The practitioner said to him that if he continues to have further issues he should go and see his GP! Wow !

Swift and easy! The audiologist explained what was going to happen clearly and simply (I had had suction before), then did what he said thoroughly and effectively!

Paid £79 to tell me they can’t perform microsuction. No offer to reduce to a consultation fee when asked . Shady!

This has become a regular visit on a 3- or 4-monthly cycle, despite me doing all the rights things.
As a returner, Amy explained the process briefly and I signed the tablet.
As usual the process was painless but a little a noisy - an extraction for each ear.
Both ears were cleared and task completed in less than 15 minutes. Very happy with outcome. I use Earol once a week, as I have dry skin and ear-plugs for swimming and showering. As always, an efficient and painless experience.
