Been registered at Julia Engwell since I was a child, however in the last 5-10 years I’ve been a handful of times. Most recently today. That Asian lady gp is the reason. She’s mentally ill or hates her job. Either way avoid this practice if you care about you or your families health. I have decided to report her and the practice to the Parliamentary
and Health Service Ombudsman.

The lady doctor, is actually so disinterested. If you want know what quiet quitting is just have an appointment with her. She comes and cashes a paycheck and leaves. I truly wonder what her motivations are. If anyone can find a way to move GPs please let me know because wow. I just don't go now and hope for the best

Poor poor experience at this GP due to the female GP. Disinterested, rude, obtaining answers to our questions was like getting a blood out of a stone and couldn't care less about my new born baby or her mother. I hope she leaves or decides to rethink her career as she doesn't possess the care or desire to be a doctor.

Think the lady gp everyone is talking about in the reviews has some sort of learning difficulty or is definitely in the spectrum, so it wouldn’t be her fault as such in regards to how she speaks and treats her patients. Think the gp managers and owners need to consider all these bad reviews about her and make a decision, as she does tend to be the only doctor available for emergency appointments.

Also my one year old son was de registered from the surgeries system somehow!! Even When i have visited few times this year and he has repeat prescription! So strange! The surgery definitely needs to have some sort of change in management or staff training. It’s a shame closest gp for us otherwise would have changed already!!

I'm not sure if it is work overload or what it is but from my experience if feels like she doesn't really care about a patients issues or problems at all and rushes you out of the room to see the next person and do the same to them I can only assume. On numerous occasions from the first time I attended the surgery I have felt this way but due covid-19 I've stuck around and not looked for another gp but even for children she doesn't seem bothered at all to be honest appointments are maily over the phone and if for what ever reason you don't pick-up the phone when she calls for the appointment your forever waiting for a call back regardless of the issue but yet if your late they see you upto 10mins late and if your on time you could be waiting upto 30mins to be seen I can't understand what the issue is here if she's loaded with too much work for one Doctor only or if she really just doesn't not care! Which as a Doctor is last last thing anyone in need of help! Upadated: 30 Jan 2025 And 2 years from my initial review the Manager is also as useless as the lady doctor and one of the nurses has also been added to the incompetent list! I doubt any training is given to these people so unprofessional and untrained it's a joke to be honest! Theres a few helpful people that actually know what they are doing and the receptionist are loveley but the rest are useless if you need help health wise! And I've just found out if you tell them your going to make a complaint they take you off their register to avoid you and sorting out the MANY ISSUES GOING ON! how is it possible that no one reads these reviews and cracks down on untrained unprofessional GPs is unbelievable! I will move Gp practice Happily but i will also still be making a complaint!

I must say that a lot of these negative reviews of "the lady" doctor I find hard understand. I found her to be direct and efficient. Getting straight to the point. She ordered urgent bloods for me and asked the lab to double check the results given their nature. Then went on to expedite my hospital admission past triage.

Once I was better she even said are you sure you're ready to go back to work, you've been exceptionally brave.

My gut feeling is that those complaining are coming in for trivial, home remedy ailments that are readily treatable by a pharmacist or even at home.

Avoid the lady doctor they have! Her behaviour is disgusting i took my infant for his 8 week’s injections and she was really rough with my child which i had to make a complaint to the manager about! At the beginning she told me to keep the pram outside and was rude about it when i challenged her she turned around and said its blocking her room but when i mentioned it to the manager he advised the pram should be in the room so the hallway is clear at all times so not sure what she was talking about! Not sure how she is a doctor the gp really needs to investigate this, she needs further training because she is letting this gp down!! The reception staff and manager is extremely understanding and nice.

As a family we recently joined the surgery about a year ago, the phone lines are always busy and you'll never get through at anytime. I always have to find a way and time to travel to visit the surgery to make a appointment, lately we have made appointments to have travel vaccination and as we know under the NHS is free of charge, unfortunately the reception and management charged us and on requesting for a receipt did not provide us which shows their honesty.
