Friendly and helpful staff. I can always get an appointment when I need one. You can still ring up pr pop in to speak to a receptionist unlike other surgeries who require you to do it all online. A brilliant surgery with lovely clinicians and admin staff.

Called yesterday morning and was given an appointment today. Reception team were very helpful and understanding. When I encountered an issue this afternoon with a referral they went above and beyond and had it all sorted within half an hour.

I wonder if the receptionist who took my call thought after she put the phone down on me "I could of done better" very patronising extremely unhelpful and rude. The surgery is a shambles

I’ve moved to this surgery recently and I’m really impressed with the cleanliness, the lift is a great help for ppl like myself who use crutches and the waiting rooms are spotless, the reception ladies are really polite and the doctor I’ve seen so far was lovely.

If giving zero stars was an option, I'd be all over it. In six years, I've tried booking a grand total of TWO appointments—both failed miserably. Their booking process traces back to the Dark Ages, the reception staff go by 'computer says no' mantra, and their computer-based assessment appears to have been designed by someone who flunked basic biology.

The doctor has changed a lot more in two years, here, than Dr Who has in sixty. Talk about consistency !! Also some of the reception staff can be unhelpful and patronising, one in particular, speaks to you like a miserable school head mistress.

Been on call for the past hour and a half no one cares to pick up. I cannot book any appointments with them over the phone. Reception staff don’t do their jobs properly and work slowly.

This is a really good practice in the Centre of York. It’s extremely well run with great Doctors. I’ve been a patient for 40 years and know a lot about General Practice in York.
