Really helpful, pleasant and efficient staff. I felt very reassured and comfortable after my appointment. Did all the tests and answered all my questions with professionalism and the right level of friendliness. I arrived early and was see straight away (no waiting time). Very pleased and wouldn't hesitate to go back.

First time I visited the sexual health clinic at John Scott centre, I won’t be going back.
Very rude senior nurse, was rushing the consultation and having an attitude. They couldn’t do what I wanted in terms of tests as there is no lab on the site. Was given treatment based on her ‘20 years experience’. I found it very unprofessional compared to other sexual health clinics.
Also she has probably injured my vein as I have a lump and swelling after the blood test.

Not sure why, despite all the feedback on bad reception staff service, they never really improve. The middle aged lady at the desk today was unhelpful and when she didn’t know the answer to my question she started to snap at me and get louder and more irate. I called the reception earlier and they seem to be in a rush to hang up, without trying to listen and answer my question correctly. They need to be trained to be more professional and more informed.

Note: the doctors and nurses I’ve seen are decent though, so for that I give this GP 3 stars.

I have an emotional support dog that’s been allowed in to this clinic with me multiple times with me.. but today I was turn away because my dog is not a guide dog and I need my dog with me why I have the paper work to take her everywhere. I had to miss an important appointment today for my back that I waited 6 weeks for because they refused me… I will never attend this clinic again. And definitely not for treating my dog like it’s scum

Poor service. Had to wait 45 minutes past my appointment time. Staff are extremely rude and loud with no care or respect to their profession. Extremely unprofessional and the clinic looked unkempt. Wouldn't recommend this clinic at all. Do not have a blood test here and I can't imagine any of their other services will be any better.

AVOID AT ALL COST
I came for a blood appointment this morning, I can only do it once a month on the 1st day of my cycle, my gp's nurse is on holidays so I booked to come to this centre. It's the worse health facility I ever visited, like dirty, disorganised and pretty much falling apart.
I tried to explain to the nurse that I faint while having my blood drawn, she wouldn't have any of that, made me feel intimidated and aggressively replied that she isn't feeling well. I decided to leave as I didn't feel comfortable with this person. I tried to speak to the receptionist and she said to me that they had a bad morning. I really don't know why would that affect me being treated by healthcare professional?

The sexual health clinic at the John Scott centre was excellent! The receptionist staff at the entrance of the John Scott building were kind and helpful, and then the nurse, Esther, provided brilliant advice, care and assistance. Booking an appointment was really easy and I walked away really happy with my experience from start to finish 🙂 thank you!
