Awful I’d avoid this place at all cost wait time is 4 hours with no one in there and an appointment. A month ago I had chest infection and tonsillitis they said there was practically nothing wrong with me an said I had a cold if that were an elderly or more vulnerable they could easily die. When I was 14 years old I had cut through my hand from a large bread knife I went in got seen 1 of the nurses said “ I can see tendons “ it was fat tissue, “it’s going to need stitches, the person that does stitches isn’t in today”. They let a child that lost a fair amount of blood still actively bleed walk out the place if no where to go I got into the Lincoln the doctor said “ they have no clue what there going on about, that does not need stitches at all” stuck a few butterfly stitches on absolutely fine there scared of work they have no idea an more concerned about party planning an communicating. I’d never go in there again

Had an abdominal ultrasound here. Cannot fault the hospital or the staff. Arrived early and was seen straight away. Hospital is clean. Staff are first class. A credit to our NHS.

I was visiting Gainsborough and unexpectedly came down with a severe UTI. I visited on a Thursday, was taken to triage within 10 minutes, and in due course saw a doctor who conducted a thorough review of my situation, history etc, and prescribed an appropriate antibiotic

Good clean hospital with different health departments and new op theatre
Nice staff and good care on Scotter Ward UTC/Xray and dept with a bright future eg new services which are needed with Gainsborough being a growing area

Fantastic to have this facility on our doorstep. Although it’s not an A&E it is open throughout the day for minor emergencies. Great service, friendly staff and very clean. Thank you NHS, how lucky we are.

I came in on the 04/03/24 to get some stitches removed. The staff at the emergency care unit were very helpful and nurse Jenny did the job in less than 5 mins. Great staff and hospital.
