Jenner House Surgery - Farnborough

Used to be very good; overall the staff do their best but now I believe they cannot cope with the demand. When you receive an appointment they’re usually running late. My last appointment was 35mins past the scheduled time. Also initially dismissed my testicular cancer as a bruise last year too. Thankfully I persisted on having a scan.

Was told when I initially checked before signing up that they can offer appointments on the week of asking. This is nonsense. I phoned on a Friday and was told they don't do "in advance" appointments unless it's an "emergency" and to call back on Monday.

I called back on Monday, after waiting 30 min I was told they have no appointments and will have to call back at 1:30. Did the same thing was 7th in queue even though I dialed at 1:30 and was told there are no appointments and I can't book one in advance.

Apparently they have only 6 pre booked appointments a week.

How is this even possible? non doubt they have 1000 patients.

The receptionist was nice and I felt sorry for her having to deal with the mess of the management.

So I would say don't bother with Jenner House absolute shambles.

Stay with the other shambles up near Morrisons.

I have always found Jenner House surgery good. Never had a problem getting a telephone call or appointment when needed. Recently June went above and beyond for me which I am so grateful for. My parents have now moved to the area and they have been very pleased with the experiences they have had with this surgery too. 10/10

My family and I have been registered here for a year now and I've always managed to get an appointment in a timely manner appropriate to the issue in question, often it's been the same day. Referral to the hospital for an issue I had was speedily done too. All staff are very helpful and the GP we see has been super. The nurse that does the baby vaccinations is warm and friendly too. The reception staff have a lot of patience, in the waiting room I often see patients ranting and getting frustrated with the. I think some people expect too much and don't understand how the NHS works! I'd highly recommend the surgery.

I called the doctors surgery this morning and had to wait 40 mins to be told all the appointments were gone for the morning BUT the receptionist I spoke to was lovely and really listened to my concern regarding my daughter, in the middle of the conversation my mobile cut me off and she took the time to call me back arrange a time for my daughter to be seen tomorrow and was excellent. Kind, patient and a totally different experience to my previous ones with receptionists at the surgery, not sure who this lady is but I would hang on to her!!

All I can say is the reception staff and the GP I have just seen over my husband's recent passing couldn't have been more helpful and understanding. The GP I saw was extremely nice. Thank you all at Jenner House, for your understanding at losing the love of my life.

Addition:- Again having wonderful treatment from Jenner House for my recent diagnosis of osteoarthritis in my foot. Can't fault them, and the receptionist who just phoned me was really helpful . Also a few weeks ago went to fleet hospital to get x-ray on my foot and was told I couldn't have it done as it was over 30 days. I phoned Jenner house from the hospital and the lovely receptionist I spoke with immediately got me another referral from the doctor .

My Appointment with Clinical Pharmacist Pretti this morning was very reassuring. I arrived anxious with a medical issue her reassurance and kindness put me completely at ease. Thank you Pretti. I felt so much more relaxed on my return home.

Went to the surgery for annual diabetic review and blood test. BP was high so it was picked up straight away and saw the doctor. Some blood tests and 24 HR monitoring later, medication changed and other tests still continuing. The lady who did my ECG, was very nice and polite. While I was there, an older gentleman came in, whose wife was having problems. The receptionist was so nice and considerate that I commended her on her interaction. So my interaction with surgery, fantastic.
