Having spend £1000s of pounds with this dentist I am extremely disappointed about their attitude to do a missed appointment when I was unwell. Yes I should have let them know but other things took over and unfortunately I forgot.

Nick Lamb of Island House was recommended to me by my own dentist for being the best dentist to carry out dental implant surgery. I did shop around and checked reviews for various other dentists. Island House were not the cheapest but a dental implant is something that should last for the rest of my life so it was important to have the best person for the job. I attended an initial consultation where everything was explained in detail. All the options were discussed including the option of leaving the tooth and taking no action (the tooth wasn't bad, it was just a very old milk tooth). After the consultation I was able to make an informed decision and decided to go ahead with the implant.
I've had a few fillings in the past, some of which have been a bit painful so I was not looking forward to the procedure but I needn't have worried, even the anaesthetic needle was very gentle. I was amazed that I could go through such a procedure with relatively little discomfort. The next day I felt no ill effects at all and carried on my working day as usual.
I had to wait for a couple of months before the actual tooth part was fitted to the implant but now it's securely in place. It feels just like a part of me which is brilliant.
I hope I never have the need for another implant but if I did, I wouldn't go anywhere else.
