It’s never an easy process to find a counsellor with whom you really connect with, especially when you are going through such a hard time in your life. However, Sam was that person, she’s helped me work through my thoughts and feelings, in a positive way.

I have always found Sam very supportive, empathetic and accepting. I have been working with her since I was a student, supporting me to find placements to complete my hours to running a successful Private Practice for a number of years. She has a wealth of knowledge from working with children and adults to safeguarding issues and much more. I have been with Sam for a few years now and feel extremely lucky to have found a very knowledgeable Supervisor who has supported me throughout, checking in on my own wellbeing, whilst also guiding me at times in additional learning and different techniques to use with clients when I've felt a little stuck.

Sam was a highly knowledgable and supportive supervisor who guided me through some very challenging times during my counselling training, from the start of my clinical placements, until I qualified. Sam came highly recommended to us and after initially contacting her during a very difficult time, it was clear she was going to be what my daughter needed. Sam was kind empathic and explained the plan from the start of how she felt she could help. There was never any pressure from her to continue sessions and ensured that the maximum use of sessions was always achieved. My daughter gelled with Sam from the start, her warm cosy and welcoming manner and environment was perfect.
She always kept me up to date of progress. She also worked round our availability. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sam.

Sam is amazing! When I initially reached out for help, I was in a really strange place and worried I'd never get out of it. On meeting Sam she was calm, approachable and instantly had a plan. Following an intense 6 appt session I am now in a really good place and able to focus as normal. I still see Sam for maintenance sessions which I requested as it provides me with some relaxation and 'me time'. I would not hesitate to go back to Sam if I had any other problems x
