Appalling service since Covid time this practice has gone downhill. Can NEVER get an appointment, even online econsult not answered or responded to. Staff rude and abrupt, Dr Kaw seems clueless and very unprofessional

I respect all NHS workers and the contributions they make to health. I do not want to be rude, but I have been waiting almost four months to get my brother referred for mental health support. His illness is quite serious (bipolar 1), and he is experiencing extreme mood swings during this period. Many times I have called them, and they do not care. I really do not understand when he got hospitalized for psychosis; will they care then?

Helpful friendly staff. Best practice I’ve ever been a patient at. The office is extremely clean. Everyone makes you feel welcome and is a very comfortable setting.
Doctor Kaw is beyond doubt the most knowledgable doctor I’ve been under couldn’t ask for better. In fact all the staff working there are great. Would never change practice.

Recently, I visited the practice, as a toenail needed to be removed. Treatment was carried out in a short time in a caring, friendly and professional manner at the surgery. I had expected to be referred to a podiatrist, where I would then join a lengthy waiting list. Afterwards, care was to the same high standard, with the wound being re-dressed twice in three days by the nurses.

Having previously undergone such a procedure with a private podiatrist, where I waited far longer and received a poorer overall service, I consider myself fortunate to registered with such an outstanding practice.

I attened for my appointment for 12.15 yesterday 20.6.24 as I was called at home last week by Stuart the nurse to come for an appointment with him. There was no explanation or appology for the long wait I endured for over 40 minutes and asked the receptionist about the long wait and she asked Stuart who was in Reception at the time and he said my appointment wasn't with him but he said it was, when he made the appointment with me.
last week!

Obviously they must have passed my appointment on to another nurse without having the decency to tell me and the receptionist should have said something knowing I had been sitting there for some time as I arrived early to drop off a specimen and had been waiting for 45 mins already before my appointment time which was my choice, but I didn't expect to be waiting almost double the time to be seen and was not told why...no

What a farce!

Now left the surgery and will miss the excellent nurses who take time to deal with you and the care they give you and always seem interested in their patients. Unlike the doctor, all he wants to do is to give medication out without even being bothered to see you. He did not even bother to tell me there was a physio at the practice even though he told me he had referred me and for 2 years I was paying to see an osteopath every week. I only found out when I saw the nurse and she dealt with it. Absolutely disgusting. Now have a decent doctor.

Absolutely terrifying how this surgery is legally allowed to operate, it is in a state of deplorable. Dr Kaw is dangerous in his practices. I’m taking multiple medications that supposedly meant to be reviewed every 6 months, I didn’t know that for the last 3 years… dr kaw is irresponsible and does not know anything about medicine/does not care about his patients. I have had several doubts and gone to the hospital and the professorial’s there completely disagree with this fraud of a doctor and his practise. Please save your life and go somewhere else because he won’t. There’s a good doctors at Petersfield if you need one….

Update on this rubbish of a practice, I’ve been dealing with stomach issues, I was prescribe a cream. I was told it will be 5 days before I’m okay, I went to the chemist and was told it was a special item and it will take 5 days for it to arrive…… what is the point, surely the doctor knows this?

Great surgery !
We have been with Dr Kaw for about four years now and it’s been amazing to always have the same doctor, this seems to be unheard of now days.
I often see the gp as I have two young kids and thyroid issues. He is very good at explaining conditions and it a great feeling when your gp actually knows you.
He knows I’m a worrier and was very kind recently when I was looking into private scan for him to send a message through the team to say I must not worry.
I always get appointments and the team are prompt. We are very happy with Dr Kaw!
