What a joke, my ex actually got to meet more like minded drug and alcohol abusers and escalated her addiction. Basically sits there and tells lies and they lap it up. Not once was I or children contacted or offered support. If you have a loved one with addiction issues steer them far far away from here

Complete waste of time, didn't help my ex IAN MORAN with his 20 yr cocaine problem, believed all his lies which allowed him to Complete his drug course quicker, went straight back to cocaine, now his bills aren't being paid he's lying to everyone and yet again spending all his money on his addiction and hiding all his problems from his family. Great service if your an addict wanting NO change to your life. Offering no joint counselling to partners who have had to live with a lying addict.

Please take note! I will be giving direct feedback but I'd welcome a response on here too.
I needed to access the services some time ago and came in to register with them. I was asked what my issue was and I told them. I was asked to go into a room and a facilitator would see me shortly. The man arrived, closed the door and didn't even say hello. He then said, "I'm not sure if anyone will be able to help you here as we haven't got any experience with with that". I said, it's just the same as any other addiction isn't it?
The man replied while staring at me with intimidating eyes and demeanor "We don't have that problem around here". I was unsure what he meant so I said ok. He asked me a couple of questions and I explained what I was struggling with. He then sat back in his chair just staring at me aggressively not saying a word for about 5 or 6 seconds and then said again "Yeah, like I said, we don't have that problem around here. During the assessment he mentioned it once more and said again that the service doesn't deal with addiction and referred to it as 'your problem". It was clear that he was trying to say I wasn't welcome there. The addition I was struggling with was mostly associated with gay men and the person I spoke with was clearly homophobic. This led me to give up hope of ever recovering and subsequently ended up nearly dying twice if overdosing and spent another 2 years in addiction.
This is absolutely disgusting behaviour and can't believe that this happened to me in an NHS ran service called "Inclusion" of all things! Not "Exclusion!". If you are gay , bi or any other minority, be careful and do what I didn't do and that's report it immediately to the appropriate people. I cannot believe this happened to me and had I not been so weak at the time due to my addiction, I wouldn't have stood for it.
I would be interested in a response from inclusion regarding this!
Look after yourselves and don't let the narrow minds of some people, stop you from getting the help you need. It's a shame that people in this day and age can't accept that some people are born differently than others.
