I recently had a tooth extraction and I can’t recommend Anika enough for the incredible experience I had. She was warm and welcoming, instantly put me at ease. She took the time to explain the procedure in detail, addressing all my concerns and ensuring I felt comfortable every step of the way.

During the extraction, she was gentle and attentive, frequently checking in to make sure I was okay. Her calming demeanour made the whole process surprisingly stress-free. I was pleasantly surprised at how quick and painless it was.

If you’re anxious about dental procedures (like me), I highly recommend Anika and the team at Iconic Smiles.

I have an autistic child and the dentist is so patient and calm with him. She always explains what she’s doing. And she does not pressure the kids into hurrying up. She makes sure they are comfortable!

We are so lucky to have a dentist in the area that is so good with the children!

I am a very nervous patient and really get bad anxiety when going to the dentist. Today I can honestly say was the most positive dental experience I have ever encountered. I had to have a large back tooth extracted. The dentist talked me through what it involved and was kind and patient with me as was the nurse. He applied numbing cream to my gums before the injection which really helped. The nurse was kind and reassuring throughout the procedure. I didn’t feel a thing and was surprised the tooth was out. They were kind empathetic and I no longer have a toothache, the experience was positive and all the staff were amazing.

I suffer from a dental phobia. I feel every time I have an appointment with them , from the receptionist , the dental assistant and the dentist , i see the same one each time, all of them are very kind ,and understanding and it makes me feel relaxed ( to a point ) I do not think I will be ever fully relaxed. And I attend the appointments more confident than I have previously,Because its never rushed and they are so patient with me. It's a lovely practice if you are a nervous patient.

They are absolutly fantastic. I was seen to by Dr Mayur Pandya and Dr Anika Vig during my visits. They are both highly professional, more intrested in my wellbeing then trying to upsell (like some other practices). They were quite patient with me, explained everything in detail and conducted the procedure without causing me any discomfort. The reception staff are also very friendly and coridal.
Overall I would recommed this practice.

Of course we are in an age of cosmetic dentistry and I’m certain this surgery and group as a whole, will more than hold its own in that respect, but this is emergency, traditional dentistry, and the addressing of excruciating pain I am talking about here.

I know from my experience of working for 111 that Dental Surgeries hardly ever take NHS patients, and this was the case here although children were still being accepted.

I have had hardly any dental issues in my life, but when mounting pain and then a bottom wisdom tooth broke, I suffered rising agony until I called the surgery and followed the guidance to register online as a private patient, taking the first appointment I could get.

I reached a point where pain was unbearable and strong painkillers gave partial relief for 2 hours only.

The sympathetic Receptionist moved me to an earlier slot and I saw the kind and highly professional. Dr Vig, who was very ably assisted.

She laid out the cost of progression which was fair pricing I felt, and agreed to an X-Ray, revealing the tooth broken clean through the middle with a massive infection underneath.

Always carefully describing cost and consequence, Dr Vig prescribed antibiotics, and said which painkillers I could consider to help and told me where a very local Chemist is.

She made it clear that the broken tooth, given its position, would need to be removed by a dental surgeon when the infection was clear and did I want her to arrange it?

Again, clearly describing cost and consequence, she was able to book me in for the procedure at the same surgery and at the earliest opportunity after the infection is cleared.

She got me out of pain and took every step to move the treatment forward as quickly as possible.

I have paid in advance for the extraction, and the price was fair in my opinion.

The receptionists, remembering my genuine desperation on the telephone, were kind and wanted to see how I was doing. They are very efficient too.

Clean modern premises, Pharmacy nearby, parking in the vicinity, professional and honest service and fine, traditional dentistry, add up to a satisfying experience.

Thank you to all involved and I await the extraction soon.
