My treatment with Gavin opened my eyes and mind to what was helping to drive my anxiety related issues. The work I did with Gavin gave me a better understanding of the 'trance state' that we often try to enter to avoid facing certain thoughts/feelings/memories. Gavin has a way of bringing necessary emotions out, so that inner healing can begin.
During the hypnotherapy part of my appointments I was aware of my environment at all times and in control of my actions, albeit in a deep state of relaxation.
I notice small shifts and changes in my feelings and behaviour over the course of therapy. For example, feeling more relaxed/less anxious and feeling more resilient.
Gavin also recommend some excellent self help tips and books along the way, which aided my progress and understanding.
I strongly believe in the benefits of hypnotherapy, especially for those who have not progressed with other talking therapies.

I have been seeing Gavin for just over a year now and I cannot emphasise how much it has helped. I have had psychotherapy in the past and it didn't feel right for me; consequently, I wanted to try something different. Gavin's approach works really well for me and has resulted in me feeling a lot calmer in general and capable of making better decisions. When I first started seeing Gavin for hypnotherapy I was usually dissociated/ in a trance state, and didn't know who I was. Through Gavin's kindness, patience and skill I have become more grounded, and am now always "present" in our sessions. The work has been imaginative and illuminating, Most importantly, I am, at last, authentic.

Gavin has helped me immensely with chronic pain in my lower back. I am a different person and am no longer all consumed by pain. More importantly I am living a much better life. Pre Covid I went to the Green Room a couple of times and now Zoom which for me is just as beneficial. Highly recommend him.
