I'm so angry and frustrating. I'm tipe1 diabetic and 2weeks I'm running from my old GP to Horton park and still didn't get right prescription for my long lasting insuline. In prescription was my old one,but that was out of stock, and Ridge Medical give me alternative one..I see the doctor, explain situation and she told me to order earlier!!! I did month ago and recive all my medications, except long lasting insuline..becouse they told me it's not on stock also ?...I showed doctor what I'm usin now, and that the new pen, goes seperate with cartridges...and all I get ,was empty pen...thers lack of communication between my old and new gp, they both is worse I ever experienced..and jet ,still they want to put the blame on patients..
I'm single mum..I running with kids to get them in school, and also working...I shouldn't been in this situation for 2weeks...My shugars raising and harder do my daily routine!! Also appointments what I needed to book when letter come, they ignore and telling its not in sistem jet..so confusing
What I should do with empty insulin pen

The reception admin office staff are an absolute joke. Very unorganised, have no idea what they are talking about half of the time and very disrespectful! I have trying to chase up an appointment and all they seem to do is give me different numbers of departments who then send me back to them. What kind of medical practice is this where they just try to avoid you and not help? And then they have the nerve to call me rude? A place with this many bad reviews and you would expect them to make some improvements atleast. Its an absolute joke!

No compassion. I shouldn’t even give it 1 star. They never have any appointments and they don’t even know what a medical emergency is. My husband said he feels paralysed and all they said was ‘call back at 2, there’s nothing left for you today’. They’re all miserable and live to the receptionist stereotype. I recommend you just die because the NHS is going downhill fast. I understand they may be overwhelmed and busy but whenever I go there it’s always empty and they’re sitting there twiddling their thumbs. Really annoyed at what this country is coming to, they don’t care about their people. I bet they won’t even have the energy to delete this.

Worst practice ever! The receptionists are very rude, they didn't want to make an appointment for me, even when they knew I was pregnant and couldn't get help at the pharmacy. They didn't listen to the pharmacist saying I needed a prescription antibiotic from my GP. The receptionist sent me to an eye doctor's office where they told me I needed to get a prescription from my GP. I called the GP and the receptionist yelled at me that I wasn't listening to her and I had to go to the optician and she put the phone down. I called 111 and got the answer that only GP can help me in my case and I have to try calling them over and over again. I called again and the other receptionist told me to call back after 2pm. After 2:00 p.m. I tried to call many times and no one answered the phone. When they picked up they said there was no appointment for today and the receptionist referred me back to an eye practice. She didn't listen that the ophthalmologist sent me to GP. I called again. The other receptionist wasn't listening either. She started laughing and put the phone down! My infection had been going on for 6 days and it was getting worse, so I went to the hospital where I got help. I do not recommend the practice.

I've never had a problem with receptionists.

The doctors are mostly friendly, however, I must say that Dr Omair Khan is very unfriendly. Both myself and a family member have seen him and come to the same conclusion: He cannot wait to get you out of his office. If he can pass you off as a problem to someone else or dismiss you, he will. If you can avoid seeing him, I strongly advise you do so.

Dr Tasneem Ishfaq, however, was lovely. Very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Everything a doctor should be.

Appointments can regularly go well over your scheduled appointment.

Been ringing from last week to get an appointment, never seem to get through and when I do, I get cut off while I’m talking. Then I have to start again trying to get through. When I do get through, I can’t get an appointment, advised to go to the chemist which I tell them ‘I already have done.’ Well then I am advised to ring back in the morning. To which I reply I have been doing since last week. I ask if a doctor can ring me back. Nope not without an appointment.
The surgery has completely gone downhill and the receptionists are the worst. Our tax money at its best.

Really beginning to hate my doctors, since covid getting an appointment is an absolute joke. There system of an appointment between 8-10 or anything else after 2pm doesn't even work. I called today at 2:25 for an appointment next week just to be told i have to ring tomorrow after 2pm for an appointment next week. They didn't even ask my name or whats up with me. Been with this surgery since birth and they have gone down hill so much. You don’t even get to speak to the doctor anymore just a receptionist.
