This has very luckily become a home from home for my Mum. The last thing in the world she wanted was to leave her home, but I believe she couldn't be looked after better here in Horkesley Manor.
The care and attention is second to none and she is made to feel special which is just what you as a
"child" would want for a mother. If for any reason I cannot visit then Laura the wonderful assistant manager will contact me and gives me the peace of mind that mum is ok.
That my Mum is surrounded by caring nursing staff that make her daily life worthy of a smile and a laugh grateful thanks go to Tasha ( who checks in on her in her day off) Debra, Prince, Kahn, Mandi, Lorraine Lorraine, Jackie, Michelle, Judith, Clare, Barbara, Alex, Uthpala, Halle, Annette, Ibiene as well As all the fabulous caring staff. so reassuring.
I'm so lucky we have found Horkesley Manor .

My father has ended his days at The Manor after 15mths of loving care. The loyal & dedicated staff made him feel relaxed & at home which wasn't always easy because he was parted from his wife. His days were filled with entertainment; dominoes, jigsaws, games & music & dance from staff or outside entertainers. The Manor is now facing the most difficult time in it's history (covid 19) & it is doing an excellent job.
April 2020 prior to it becoming a nursing home.
