I have had the pleasure of visiting the health centre on numerous occasions, (specially on 17th of July 2024, I can’t be more great for the support I’ve received from doctor and reception desk) and each time, I have been consistently impressed by the exceptional service provided at the reception desk. The reception staff are truly the heart of the centre, and their dedication to providing outstanding service is evident in every interaction.
From the moment you walk through the doors, you are greeted with warm smiles and a friendly demeanor that immediately puts you at ease. The receptionists are always attentive and ready to assist with any inquiries or concerns. They handle each situation with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring that all patients feel valued and cared for.
One of the most remarkable aspects of the reception desk service is the staff’s ability to manage a high volume of patients while maintaining a calm and organized environment. Despite the often busy and bustling atmosphere, the receptionists never appear flustered or overwhelmed. Instead, they approach each task with a sense of calm and composure that is truly admirable.
The receptionists are also incredibly knowledgeable and well-informed. They are always able to provide accurate information regarding appointments, services, and procedures. Their ability to answer questions thoroughly and clearly demonstrates their commitment to ensuring that patients have all the information they need to make informed decisions about their health care.
On several occasions, I have witnessed the reception staff go above and beyond to accommodate patients’ needs. Whether it’s finding a last-minute appointment, assisting with paperwork, or providing reassurance to anxious patients, their willingness to go the extra mile is truly commendable. Their kindness and empathy make a significant difference in the overall patient experience.
In addition to their exceptional service, the reception area itself is always clean, well-organized, and welcoming. The staff take great care to ensure that the environment is comfortable and pleasant for all visitors. This attention to detail further enhances the positive experience of visiting the health centre.
Overall, the reception desk at the health centre consistently provides outstanding service that exceeds expectations. The staff’s professionalism, efficiency, and genuine care for patients make every visit a positive experience. I am incredibly grateful for their hard work and dedication, and I highly recommend this health centre to anyone in need of medical care.

I am shocked to read all of the negative reviews below, I have been a patient at this surgery for around 2 years now and can honestly say this is the best practice that I have ever been to. I can always get an appointment, sometimes on the same day. They are also incredibly helpful and thorough when investigating issues and I never feel like anything is too much trouble. I hope I get to remain as a patient for as long as possible here as I’m unsure I would find another surgery like it. Thank you to Horfield Health, you really are wonderful! 🙂

Used to be a good surgery. Used to be able to easily get in contact for follow ups. Now econsult is disabled resulting in a phone call. A 10 min phone call with my GP? 3 weeks wait.

Disappointed recently. My GP wanted me to see diabetic nurse after I had all the checks done by auxiliary nurse (problems found). Tried to make an appointment but receptionist refused saying it was enough that I saw the auxiliary nurse. Sooo rude, wouldn't listen to me. As the problem found is quite serious, I've managed to make an appointment this week only after saying I needed GP appointment and when they found out I was going to tell GP about them, miracle, they booked with diabetic nurse finally. Guess what? Just got text saying appointment has been cancelled! Seriously considering looking for new surgery

Embarrassing health care center, horrible, they just don't care at all, they tried their best to push you and almost beg you to having some unneeded vaccine which I refused and they almost begged me and I refused but when you actually need a check, they just ignore you, have been having some pain since March, saw and spoke with 3 GPs, 3 months later I still haven't been checked, I asked for a scan, they just take all the time, they don't care to understand the urgency, 3 months now that I have requested to get checked, I even went to an A&E as I couldn't walk. Just don't waste your time registering on this health Centre, all useless. It should shut down otherwise they are putting people s health in danger. Just don't register to this useless so called doctors.

I have always had a pleasant experience with this GP practice. All the procedures and consultations I've had with nurses and doctors have been all throughout thoughtful and supportive. Every concern I had has been addressed and taken seriously.
My GP Dr. Graham is genuinely one of the nicest doctors I have ever had. She takes great care to explain everything and communicates to me as her equal in a respectful and warm manner.

Be aware you will have to guess when your medication is in!

Was told by a doctor on Monday my medicine would be a few days. Five days later, no confirmation text, email or phone call to say that the medicine came in ON THE SAME DAY I SAW THE DOCTOR. I've been in pain unnecessarily for five days. You need a system set up to tell patients when their medicine came in as i was told 3 different days when the medicine come in.

Has repeatedly not processed my prescription, with no explanation, apology or improvement in service. Not fit for purpose and should be shut down.
