Brilliant place to work. Very caring ethos throughout the Company, starting with the Director downwards. Care visits are minimum of 1 hour which means you are never rushed and can take time to build a relationship with the clients. You are actively encouraged to take part in as much training as possible. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Home Instead (Swinton) and would still be there if I hadn't trained for a different role. This company look after clients the way I would like my own parents to be looked after if the need arose. They also look after their staff and want only the best for them. The care givers from Home Instead treated both my parents with dignity, affection, thoughtfulness and professionalism. They enjoyed their visits and felt safe which meant that they could both stay in their own home until their end of their long and fulfilling lives. I found it particularly reassuring that the communication from the care givers and office staff was excellent- quick and efficient especially as I lived hundreds of miles away from my parents. I was so grateful that Carole was with my mum and held her hand when she died. Cheryl was always jolly, empathetic and so caring. I heartily recommend Home Instead.

Home Instead were fantastic looking after my mum and dad, allowing them to stay in their own home as long as possible. Mum resisted at first, didn’t like change or think she needed help except for family help. Eventually she was persuaded to give it a go. Within weeks she saw the help as exceptional and thought of her team of carers as friends, almost ‘new family’. After dad passed away mum continued in her home with the continued support of her carers (friends). Unfortunately she became bed bound after an illness and had to go into a care home. She missed her Home Instead carers (friends) so much and never felt anything was ever as good as her carers from Home Instead!

Hi , My name is Dawn. I was working at Home Instead up until November 2024 when I moved. Otherwise I would definitely still be working there.
Home Instead are a wonderful company to work for, they treat you like part of a family.
Everybody is friendly and approachable.
I loved my job as a Care Professional. It was great that you are introduced to the client and family prior to caring for them.
All the clients I cared for were wonderful, all with individual needs. Be it personal care,
meal preparation, companionship and medication administration.
I enjoyed my job , I felt I was making a difference caring for my clients in their own homes. Getting to know them and their family members.

My late father was supported by HomeInstead for the last couple of years of his life. In that time, each and everyone of the staff - from the carers to the office staff - showed compassion and consideration towards my father and to us, his family. They were always professional but also approachable. I can’t thank them enough. I truly believe that with their excellent care we were able to have longer with him than would have been the case otherwise. Although I miss my father dearly, knowing he had the best possible care gives me comfort. Thank you

The home instead team support my dad in a very caring professional manner
From a person very reluctant to have support initially this was handled extremely well. It has allowed him to maintain his independence at home. He has had his support packages varied a couple of times following hospital stays, where he has initially required more care, and home instead staff have arranged these changes very quickly.
The family are kept well informed and the admin/management team are all very responsive and helpful

Amazing care from the beginning from the first phone call to the end of life care for my Mum, Rita❤️
Having struggled on my own for over 2 years, I needed extra help & support with Mum’s personal care. A friend recommended I use Home Instead, Salford. I couldn’t have asked for more support, we looked forward to seeing the lovely ladies each morning, all very professional, caring with a great sense of humour! Which we both appreciated❤️

I worked at Home Instead Salford for a number of years. I can honestly say it was truly enjoyable to go to work each day. The management team were first rate with the training on offer and support given. I would recommend Home Instead as a care provider employer they take great care to match the correct career to the client which works perfectly.
