Home Instead have been taking care of my mother since 2021. (three and a half years) The carers allocated to look after my mother are professional and understand the importance of social interaction as well as looking after my mother’s needs. As I live in another country I rely on Home Instead to keep me informed of my mother’s progress and report back. They offer a social afternoon once a month and come and pick my mother up and take her back. During Covid, they arrange appointments for her jabs. Nothing is too much trouble.

Mum was very reluctant to admit that she needed care but from the very first meeting Home Instead Ruislip and Harrow put her at her ease and showed how professional, caring and kind they were going to be. Mum's carer was absolutely wonderful, she was observant, helpful and friendly. Mum adored her. We were pleased that Mum had the same carer most of the time so a relationship was built up- she particularly loved the fact that her carer was insured to take her out in the car for a visit to a cafe or garden centre. We were impressed by the Birdie app which meant we could read the carer's reports. And we, Mum's offspring had peace of mind. I thoroughly recommend HI Ruislip and Harrow.

Mother has needed puree diet,thickener, mobility support etc and they took all this on amazingly and have kept us updated regularly with an app where we could see the progress
