As someone who works in health care, the care and support that was bespoke to both my parents was truely first class. Carers were specifically chosen to form therapeutic relationships with both, and the changes to both their needs was swiftly identified and adapted accordingly. The carers were all respectful, sensitive and became trusted friends to my parents and a source of comfort for us. They also gave end of life care when there was a sudden deterioration. This was planned professionally, quickly and delivered with compassion and dignity.

Entering the world of care was daunting to start with, but from my initial call to the day to day care of my Dad, the team at Home Instead continue to provide a fabulous service to both my Dad and the wider family. They are incredibly professional and do exactly what they say they are going to do, every time, leaving us well informed and well cared for.
The team genuinely care for Dad, treating him with dignity as well as having a good giggle - it feels very personal.
Flexibility has been really important to us as Dad has unfortunately had a number of hospital stays, but the team at Home Instead have been right behind us, ready to re-commence care as soon as we’ve needed it.
I genuinely do not know what we would do without them.

I can thoroughly recommend the professional service and amazing level of care provided to my father by Home Instead. From our initial contact to the day of my father’s death, the staff supported us every step of the way. All care was provided with dignity and respect, with my fathers needs and wishes guiding every intervention. Nothing was too much trouble. Care was flexible and immediately stepped up to accommodate his deteriorating health. The carers were completely reliable, arrived when they said they would and attended to his every need. They quickly developed a rapport with us as a family and put us all at ease. As a healthcare professional, I work alongside lots of care agencies in another part of the country and I can confidently say that I have never experienced an agency as good as Home Instead.

All the staff, both Management, Office and Carers are wonderful. The Care Professionals enable my husband to continue to do what he can do, given his Alzheimers diagnosis. They also support me by seeing and doing practical household jobs. The office staff communicate very well and are supportive, so there's always clarity. They absolutely do feel like part of the family; it is personal. I highly recommend them.

We employed Home Instead to initially help my parents in law as they began to struggle with every day tasks. We could not fault their professionalism as they built up a great rapport enabling my parents in law to trust them and accept help into their home. All members of staff were pleasant and caring, taking an obvious pride in their work. Good communication and support for all the family was greatly appreciated. We employed Home Instead to provide personnel care, help with getting up and going to bed, meals and medication for my Dad so that it gave him some independence. This gave us quality time with him and gave him care during the day. The Home Instead team provided get care, support and professionalism to both Dad, myself and family members. When Dad deteriorated they were able to provide that extra support so we were able to have periods of rest so that we could continue caring for Dad. I would recommend Home Instead for the loving, caring attitude to both Dad and family members.

The whole team were excellent from the admin staff right through to the carers. Response times were good, I felt that they worked hard to get to know Mum as a person, and they were proactive in all areas. I would thoroughly recommend them.

A caring organisation, both for clients and staff. Staff are valued, treated fairly, receive superb training and are made to feel an important part of the organisation. As such, knowing there is such support, staff go the extra mile for the clients ensuring not only medical and care needs are met but clients more psychological and emotional needs are also looked after in the level of care and companionship that is given. I would be delighted to engage HI services should I have need of them in the future.
